Lindsay's New York Story is an Event used to gain the
Car Hood Ornament.
Event Mechanics
Prerequisites: This event only opens once you have
the
Car Hood Ornament Task which is unlocked near the end of cleaning up the garage area. You also must have completed the Ignatius Boulton Event. This change was made in the May 2022 update as relayed by the
support.
How to get to it: Once you unlock the event, it will be available via the calendar button
in the upper left hand corner on the map screen. Once you started you will be able to access the Event Garage by the Event Garage Button over the normal Garage Button.
Reward:
Makeup Tools. The item reward for this quest allows you to merge the
Car Hood Ornament. You earn rewards by leveling up.
Leveling up: To level up you need to collect
Event Experience Points, these are generated by the
Hotel Stay items.
Event Length: This event is only available for 3 days (72 hours) each round. Once the event is over, you can claim the rewards and start the event again. You will lose all your progress in the previous round and start over. However, you can keep replaying to get higher level
Makeup Tools and gain additional XP & Coins.
Event Gameplay Tips
Item Trees
As soon as the
event ends, you will lose access to the event garage and all items in the event garage will disappear when you start the next round. As such, you can sell all the items before the event ends for additional coins.
Event Rewards
Event Progress can be found, by clicking the Button on the lower right hand side.
It shows the current Level for the event and what the rewards will be.
Rewards will be given out as soon as the
event ends.
The maximum level is 21.
