Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba has set a release date for the Blu-ray release of the TV version of Mugen Train arc seen in the second season of the anime series! The second season of the anime returned for new episodes last Fall, but it started out in a much different way than fans had expected to see. Rather than just jumping into brand new material from series creator Koyoharu Gotoge's original manga, the second season started out with seven episodes taking on the Mugen Train arc first seen in the Mugen Train feature film released the year before. As fans currently wait on the third season of the anime now in the works, Aniplex of America has announced that Demon Slayer: Mugen Train arc will be getting both a limited and standard version Blu-ray release on September 27th. This includes the seven episodes of the arc seen during the second season (including the brand new episode showcasing a new Rengoku story not seen in the previous movie). Goodies vary for each edition, but they both will include the Japanese and English audio releases when they launch.

Demon Slayer Mugen Train Blu-Ray AnnouncedRecently, the official Twitter account for Demon Slayer Kimetsu No Yaiba announced the Mugen Train Blu-ray release date. The Blu-ray will be available for purchase starting December 21st. According to the official announcement, the Blu-ray will arrive with a Limited Edition and Standard Edition. The Limited edition will come with a rigid box containing an original CD soundtrack. Besides that, it will include a "Deluxe Booklet with Staff and Cast Interviews." Finally, buying the Limited edition would also get you a Digipack featuring new art by ufotable. So, if you're planning to own Mugen Train in Blu-ray, it's best to go with the Limited Edition for all the extra benefits.
