not sure why someone posted the Manga novel release date as this sub is for light novels ..

(but I do hope the artist gets good treatment as I have a family member that has cancer and she's gone thru hell and, to be honest, they may need to change artist depending on the type and needed treatment time but I hope it's not a major type)

at least the 3rd Light novel is coming out and I can't wait as just finished the 2nd Light Novel this evening and total cliffhanger time, at the end, the novel they've so many questions unanswered with new ones opened it's insane

I personally enjoy the series and plan on buying volume 4 tomorrow. Do I think its a masterpiece or anything, no not at all, but it holds my interest.

Now the LN's "Dirty Jokes on heroes" and "Lazy dungeon master" are the only 2 I could not make it far in vol 1 where I had to say I give up cant do it. Waste of money.

Well, volume three is coming out in January. Seven Seas seems to be a bit weird sometimes with how they space out book releases, though at least for the first three volumes of this series, they seem to be releasing the physical versions about two months apart. The release dates as currently scheduled are:

2021-07-08: Volume 1, early digital

2021-09-07: Volume 1, physical

2021-11-09: Volume 2, physical (digital may or may not be earlier)

2022-01-11: Volume 3, physical (digital may or may not be earlier)

At some point, the gap between books will obviously be larger, but I guess that they're trying to rush out the initial volumes.

Was hoping for more of the beast side than human with animal ears and tails. Not that it's bad but the former is cooler for me.

I'm probably just going to end up reading it and judging myself, but as someone who like "the worlds greatest assassin reincarnated in another world as an aristocrat" how similar is this to that?

I wouldn't say they're that similar. "Greatest assassin" is about assassinations and using mind game manipulation to create a harem.

This is about an edgy assassin guy who's stronger than his peers.
