Taking on sporty look with vibrant golden yellow and red hues. The Nike Dunk Low 'Midas' gets dressed up in an eye-catching colourway that takes this OG basketball classic to another level!

SKU: DD1391-701

With all the original BE TRUE college colorways releasing in High and Low form, will Nike continue to explore more NCAA-themed colorways? With the recent surfacing of the Nike Dunk Low “UCLA”, this upcoming red/yellow/white release isn’t much of a surprise. Call it the USC collorway if you’d like, but it’s quite a coincidence that these two colorways match the Southern California and Pac-12 South rivalry between the Bruins and Trojans.

These are rather similar to the original “St. John’s” colorway that released back in 2020, but the minor twist in the yellow tongue label makes these entirely new. The new insoles match the exterior, with a red base and yellow logo further differentiating these from the original Dunk Low Retro drops of the last two years.

A release date isn’t known yet, so stay tuned for updates.

Product description

Created for the hardwood but taken to the streets, the Nike Dunk Low returns with crisp overlays and original team colours. This basketball icon channels '80s vibes with premium leather in the upper that looks good and breaks in even better. Modern footwear technology helps bring the comfort into the 21st century.

For the upcoming “Year Of The Rabbit” festivities in 2023, Nike is looking back to the last occurrence of the zodiac animal for some inspiration.

That would be in 2011, when Nike Sportswear dropped one of the best “Year Of The…” Air Force 1s in history. Inspired by a traditional milk cream-flavored candy popular in China, the original Air Force 1 “Year Of The Rabbit” features a white, red, and blue colorway to match the signature candy wrapper. The fully opaque outsole mimicked the translucence of the candy itself, while the chenille materials on the Swoosh and tongue logos were set to represent the furry nature of the rabbit. Retail price was set at $250, while a Friends And Family edition with special packaging landing in the hands of the world’s foremost collectors and VIPs.

For 2023, Nike is transferring the same colors and details to the Dunk Low. This first look at official images reveals the same use of colors and materials on the uppers, but with the added rabbit logo on the heel, pressed into the leather. The outsole also calls out the connection to the AF1 as the left sole boldly states 2011 while the opposite shoe reveals a 2023.

The Nike Dunk Low “Year Of The Rabbit” is expected to release in January 2023; see the first look at official images below. For now, you can look back on 2011’s Air Force 1 “Year Of The Rabbit”.

Are Nike Dunk Low hard to get?

Will Nike Dunk Low be restocked?

Nike's “Panda Dunk” Restocking Again On January 19th, 2023 The Nike Dunk–both Low and High–in a “Black/White” color scheme colloquially dubbed the “Panda” pair is set to return once again on January 19th, 2023.
Its simple look makes the shoe ubiquitous and wearable. It's simple, and it's got a big Swoosh, so you know it's a Nike. That means it's got a ton of appeal for unboxings and Insta 'fit pics.

When did the red and white dunks drop?
