What can I say Uncle Clifford role is amazing! The turn of events with Mercedes I really felt for her. The characters and the story line they really did a good job with this show. Not for a moment was I bored or felt disinterested.

Raw

I was refreshingly surprised to find this show was different from what I expected. It isn't just an urban tale about the regular degular. It has substance and it addresses many subjects considered as taboo. Very well worth the watch and wait for Season 2. I look forward to the next one!!

It's ok I guess, just started season 2

I just started Season 2, it's ok. I'm confused as to why so much of the storyline is centered around Mississippi when her character was annoying for all of the first season. I will keep watching and update my review.

Awesome

So I accidentally found this show and had no idea what I was getting myself into! I am addicted. I love the show and I’m just curious what the plans are for season three I’m paying for a STARZ subscription in order to watch this and I would hate to cancel it if season three would be coming out anytime in the near future.

This show breathes life into lives untold

Where do I even start.. I love to watch this show. The dialogue and the way the rich writing is delivered is one huge draw. Then there's the star power of every. single. character.. There's not one actor that brings a B game to any scene. Then there are the countless stories told about people going to incredible lengths not just to survive but to do the absolute most while surviving, lol. I mean, I haven't even gotten to the athleticism and grace required to do what these dancers do every night. Seriously, this show is everything. I've never been an "exotic dancer," never been a sex worker, but this show really brings home the mantra that sex work is work. The only profane aspect of the show is the systemic fuckery that brings these folks and these skillz to the margins of our society.

So, if the saucy dialogue, relevant storytelling, athleticism, depth of grace or sociopolitical commentary don't draw you in, just watch for the the sheer showbiz of it all. There's not one moment in this show where you're not being served the best entertainment on TV today. Love love love.
