Moreover, be aware that certain camera features such as shutters and winding gear motors are noisy and may be a disturbance, thus we ask that you curtail use if advised. PNC Arena management reserves the right to revise the terms of acceptable cameras and use at any time. For all other events (Concerts, Family Shows, etc.) please refer to the corresponding event page*. Only standard point-and-shoot cameras (with no detachable lenses) will be permitted. PNC Music Pavilion is a fantastic outdoor music venue in Charlotte, North Carolina. Formerly known as Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre and originally called Blockbuster Pavilion, it is famous around Charlotte and the state for it’s outstanding live music. Found on Pavilion Boulevard located in the University City neighborhood, the amphitheatre is in a prime location for live concerts featuring artists and bands in many different music genres, as well as tours such as The Vans Warped Tour and Ozzfest. Please note the following when attending PNC Music Pavilion: The venue is located near I-85 and I-485 in the University City in Charlotte. To reach the venue from the south take I-77 N to I-85 N, exit 48 (I-485 East), first exit for Highway 29, left at the light at the end of the exit ramp and the first right onto Pavilion Blvd where the venue is found on left.Are bags allowed at PNC Music Pavilion?What are the PNC Music Pavilion safety & security guidelines? All bags are subject to search. Each guest is allow clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutch bags (4.5”x 6.5”).
Can you bring purses into PNC?Clutch/wristlet bags smaller than 4.5" x 6.5" are permitted; these are not required to enter via bag X-ray line. Parenting bags and medical bags are permitted and required to pass through X-ray machine prior to entry. Guests can expect longer wait times for bag lines.
Can you bring a backpack to PNC?New PNC Park Bag Policy
Bags will not be permitted at entry to PNC Park, except for bags used exclusively for medical equipment or diaper bags for the care or infants and toddlers.
Can you bring a blanket into PNC?PERSONAL LAWN CHAIRS are NOT ALLOWED. Blankets are still allowed and chairs are available to rent for $5. Recording equipment is strictly prohibited, TVs and any other equipment that hasn't been unauthorized within the center. FIRST AID Station can be located at the right side of the main plaza.
