The Prince discovers a sword in the Secret Level

The Secret Level found in Prince of Persia: The Sand of Time is an unlockable level based on the original Prince of Persia game released in 1989. The level serves as a bonus to the player, with pop beer puns and with a picture of the developers.

Accessing the Level

End of the Level

X-Box

Start a new game but don't enter the room instead click and hold the Left Analog-stick, then quickly press A, X, Y, B, Y, A, X, B. You will then enter the first level of the original Prince Of Persia game, redone in 3D.

PlayStation 2

Start a new game, stay on the balcony and hold L3 (left analog stick). Then, quickly input the following: X, Square, Triangle, O, Triangle, X, Square, O

Gamecube

You will need two controllers. Start a new game, stay on the balcony, insert a controller into port four and port one. Hold B on controller four then quickly input A, B, Y, X, Y, A, B, X on controller one.

PC

Similar to the PlayStation 2 release, start a new game, but do not enter Farah's room. Remain on the balcony. To access the secret level, hold X and press Space, Left mouse, E, C, E, Space, Left mouse, C.[1][2]

   Start a New Game and stay on the balcony. Press in the left analog stick, then quickly press A,X,Y,B,Y,A,X,B.

1. Slide Through Walls GBA

   First, hang on to a ledge and fall off, but don't move after you fall. If there is a wall next to you, you will slide through it if you press and hold DOWN.

Unlockables

1. How to unlock the original Prince Of Persia

   Around 33% of the way into the game, you will receive a new sword. Continue on until you break a wall and the Prince says, ''It's said they built this palace on the ruins of another...'' Once you cross the next room, you will find a rotatable switch. Directly behind this switch is a breakable wall, although it doesn't appear to be one. If you hit it three times, you will find another room and you will receive a message informing you that Prince of Persia is now unlocked.
   You can also rotate that switch until it points to the new room and it will open a gate that allows you to play Prince of Persia right there without having to exit back to the Extra Features screen.

2. Unlock hidden levels GBA

   If you've got this game for the Gamecube, you will find white boxes spilling light on the GCube version. Connect to the GCube using a GCN-GBA Adaptor plug. When you break the boxes, you will unlock a level each time.

3. Unlock Prince of Persia 1 GC

   *Note: the wall you break looks like a regular, unbreakable wall. After hitting it 3 times it will break.

   POP1	After you get the sword that can break walls, go through the cavern until you get to a lever and break the wall north of it. Go into the passage.

4. Unlock Prince of Persia 2 XBOX
