Can you have glow in the dark paint on your car?

Summing Up. In conclusion, there are no laws that specify that you can't have glow in the dark paint on your car in the United States, at least not at the time of writing. Just avoid red and/or blue colors, especially emanating from the front of your vehicle, and you should be good to go.

      How long does glow

Glow-in-the-dark paint is meant for working up to 10 years in case the surface was prepared correctly. The glowing time period will even last up to 12 years if you coat the painted surface with a special sealer for the phosphors to protect the painting from deterioration.

How long does glow in the dark paint lasts?

Unopened glow in the dark paint may last for 3 to 5 years. On a wall, it may radiate luminously for up to 10-years, or even 12 if protected with a clear sealer. Fluorescent paint will glow as long as a black light shines on it, while phosphorescent glows after dark for 3 to 4 hours or more.
