Can't say anything for RE 0 but I will always stand by the GC version of REmake. Controls were specifically tailored to the GCs controller, and as a result, movement is so much more fluid/tighter than any other port. Also, in terms of graphics, the lighting/saturation/color in the GC ver. of remake is superior to any port of the game. Only thing Wii has over GC is the entire game being on one disc, and Wii-specific controls for aiming that result in a slightly faster weapon draw animation. Also, might I add that I believe the Wii version looks a bit washed out or "lighter"... really bothers me, but otherwise, there is no content exclusivity between the two.

Shamrock99 8 years ago#4 Not a fan of that comparison because during actual gameplay the creator of the comparison isn't showing the exact same thing on each screen (GCN and the Wii). It's directly split down the middle, so for example you see Jill on the left and Barry on the right...not a direct comparison of the same screen. Barry on the left and Barry on the right framed up during the exact same time is what's needed for a better direct comparison, like how Eurogamer's Digital Foundry would do it. I like the Wii version. Control options, shorter loading times, supports widescreen and progressive video... yeah. "Saturn users are people who truly love games." - Hideo Kojima |

If the game was originally in 4:3 then that's what I'd like to play it in then, especially since the resolution only goes to 480p and not 720p+. I'll take the Wii version over the GCN version for the controller options, shorter load times, and progressive video support. Oh, and some of the bonus content from the PS2 version was added to the Wii port. Plus, I'm pretty sure the GCN version still goes for quite a bit more than the Wii edition.
