Holy shit that was the most dense and greatest episode of Rick and Morty that I ever saw. It was everything the fans of the show wanted in just one episode. I don't think I'm going to be able to sleep tonight lmao.

This was not just the best rick and morty ever. That was one of the best sxi moments ever. It has such a well done feeling if closure, especially since episodes with lore and are not stand alone are rare so this was extra special. The last minute got that feeling just right sonehow.

Evil Morty not only outsmarted Rick, but at the same time just took all of that intellect to another infinite string of realities where Rick is no longer the smartest, potentially making it possible for Morty to do the same thing to that string of realities and rule as Rick did.

This episode was great but came down too late. The hype was through the roof years ago with Evil Morty and they just filled the seasons with meaningless episodes. Now Evil Morty is back but it feels... well, like it's too late.

What do you mean its too late? They really only made plans canon after the show was renewed for a bunch more seasons. And altho some of the episodes werent that great, they arent meaningless. They just filled the season with episodic episodes and they rarely use serialized episodes and IMO thats what makes it great since they rarely use serialized episodes. It would be boring if they put out a lot of serialized ones.

The blood bath was really something else, like the writers were challenging each other of who gonna make the most gruesome death.

Yeah the final episode was pretty good. I was really hoping for the final two episodes to contribute greatly to the story of the show. Episode 9 sucked but at least episode 10 gave us some more story which I really wanted. Still kinda left me with some blue balls after waiting for this hour long finale.

I don't think 9 necessarily sucked, it just didn't add to the story any more than some of the other episodes.

I still thought it was better than the turkey episode and some other ones this season.

I think Episode 9 was supposed to suck because the creators didn't want to let in the lore too early and let the fans continue watching which was a genius move on their part to maintain retention.

What if you think about it Morty might also be super smart now. He does have all of ricks memories they scanned his whole brain so Morty probably knows everything that rick knows...

Basically C-137 reconnects with Morty and we have his backstory revealed during his meet with evil Morty. It was about how he was trying to avenge his dead wife and Beth by trying to find that douche rick who probably killed them. This leads to him killing more versions of himself that lead to the early stages of the citadel. This events lead him to meeting his hypothetical grandson Morty, where we learn were mass produced as livestock to cope. This then leads to him creating the curve thingy where he is the "rickest rick". lol just tried to cram up the important points.

That's exactly what he did, he went into the reality where Beth didn't die and lived there.

Why couldn’t he go to a reality where Diane didn’t die either?? Or a reality where he didn’t abandon them and nothing changed??
