Packaging was shockingly compact, basically most of the frame and motor was inside the drum on arrival. Assembly was quick and easy, suggest two people as the drum is incredibly heavy. Operated smoothly and as expected. There seemed to be a tendency to develop dry spots during mixing around the puddles but this was manageable and avoidable by mixing wetter than it seems like it should be. The only issue I ran into was that the drum can swivel on the wheeled frame and while it is possible to dump the mixed load sideways it should not be done as the frame is not wide enough to prevent tipping. We had a close call on our first tip when we had set it parallel to the side of the pour site and tried to pour sideways. This swivel joint also was a minor annoyance when moving the mixer as it is manually tightened and loosened with a wrench. When moving if you forget to retighten this the drum (which the handles attach to) will try to swivel when you go to move it. Ultimately these are minor inconveniences that come down to becoming familiar with the tool. Definitely worth the cost so far. Just make sure you have a large space to store it as it is very large when assembled. Ps- not even sure what the “thickness” rating category means... Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2021 This is a great product. We used this machine to mix concrete for a cabin pier pour. This made quick and easy work of mixing up 200 bags of concrete. The wheels are stout too, we did a lot of dragging this machine around the work site. We really liked it's maneuverability and dumping mechanics. The build is strong and should last a long time. Only issue we had was it has to be on pretty level ground and site we were on wasn't completely level nor would any build site. Just be careful so you don't roll it over on yourself; we came close to dumping a couple loads over. Reviewed in the United States on October 24, 2020 You will never mix by hand again......Bought this because I had to put in a pressure relief system along with footers in my basement and so far this mixer is working good. I like it because while I am floating one section of the floor, the mixer is mixing so I can go rite in to the next section of floor. Great when you are working alone and don't want to have to stop and mix, saved me a ton of time and from sore arms. I have been mixing 2 60 LBS bags at a time, it looks like it would hold more but 2 60's are good enough for what I m doing. I was debating on getting the Kobalt one but I just was unimpressed with the plastic drum seems it would crack after heavy use. still run like new. Each one mixing 2cf at a time. Each cf required 22 pounds cement, 54 pounds sand, 60 pounds stone, and 1.3 gallons of water for a six sack mix, that’s 5000psi concrete. It needs something welded on so that you don't have to keep using a spanner. Ive got an old mole wrench attached to mine. I put 20 80lb bags of Mortar through it two bags at a time and it did an excellent job. No complaints. No the most manuverable thing, and the drum is higher than I prefer. You can rent one of these 4 times or buy it for about the same price. It is impossible to remove the bowl after installed. Poorly design!
