The Samsung Q80/Q80R QLED TV is much better than the Q60/Q60R QLED. The Q80 has a full array local dimming feature and excellent black uniformity, which is great for dark room performance. The Q80 can also get a lot brighter, has significantly better viewing angles, and much better reflection handling.
What is the difference between Q60 and Q70?Really the only difference between the Q70 and Q60 is space. Since the Q70 is a big sedan, it's got room for a growing family. If you don't need quite as much legroom in the backseat, though, the Q60 coupe will speak to your need for sporty style.
What is the difference between Q80A and Q70A?The Q80A has an ADS panel, which has much wider viewing angles. It also gets significantly brighter in HDR, so highlights stand out the way they should. However, the Q70A has a VA panel with a much better contrast ratio and improved black uniformity.
Is it worth getting Q80T over Q70T?Our Verdict. The Samsung Q80/Q80T QLED is better than the Samsung Q70/Q70T QLED for most uses. The Q80T has a full-array local dimming feature, can get brighter in HDR, and has much wider viewing angles.
