The
treated area that went through the above and then I power washed looks worse than the area I did not treat and just power washed. See photo. Amazon made it right and refunded my money. [Update Oct] TLDR; Barrel tile roof in Florida, power washed most of one side, then used this on the remainder. I followed the instructions and used the standard mix, no change. Repeated with max mix, no change. Power washed the rest of the roof. Living in Florida with a barrel tile roof and an HOA is fun. Thank goodness for Florida Man to keep us entertained. I power washed the front (east) and most of the north side before running out of gas. My neighbor suggested this stuff so I thought sure, good time to try it. I bought two 1 gallon jugs and a backpack sprayer. I mixed at the standard rate and applied to un-power washed area of the north side leaving a control area. It did not rain for a day and then we had a few days of typical downpours. No change. I mixed up to the max rate and treated the area again. It didn't rain for three days, then again downpours for a few days. Still no change. I power washed the rest of the roof that was not treated. I really wanted it to work, power washing a roof is not fun... letting the west side work for a little longer to see if it does work eventually. Customer Reviews
Removes stains. Does not remove moss. I bought this exact product from Home Depot in June of 2019 to remove bright green moss growth on the north side of my roof, mostly because the before and after pictures on the product label attached to the bottle clearly show that's what it's for. And, within 48 hours of application, the moss turned brown. Great! Unfortunately, that's all that happened. Nine months later, Feb. 2020, that ugly brown growth is still attached to my shingles, as firmly as ever. Now, I'm thinking that I'll have to power wash it off, which is what I should have done in the first place! This product does remove mildew stain (that I didn't even realize was there), but it does NOT remove moss growth. The before and after pictures attached to the product label clearly indicate that it should, but as my own pictures show, that's not been my experience. by 10 found this review helpful Best product for cleaning... Works as described Sprayed it on & forgot it. Within 2-3 days, mildew, moss, and stains were gone or killed. Heavy moss on roof died & used a push broom to brush it off. Used a garden sprayer with recommended dilution to apply it. by

With the gallon, after following instructions to the letter, and even adding a little extra which the instructions said could be done, didn't do the job. I would not recommend the gallon, and the premix gets expensive. So I'm back to Jomax and bleach. That I know works... by

No to the large container I don't like the 5 gallon container as there is a lot of waste when trying to transfer it into a smaller, usable container. I wanted some one gallon containers at the time but there wasn't any available. I won't buy the larger container again. by
