Programs. Penn Summer Prep Program Session A: July 4 - July 16, 2022  The two-week program offers non-credit, immersive study in disciplines across the sciences, arts, and humanities. Students choose two modules to focus their studies and benefit from the University’s rich educational resources. Penn Summer Academies July 10 - July 30, 2022 For three intensive weeks, these non-credit academies encourage students to dive deep into exploratory research in a specific subject area, including American Sign Language, biomedical research, chemistry, experimental physics, mathematics, neuroscience, and social justice. Pre-College Program June 28 - August 6, 2022 The Pre-College Program offers undergraduate courses in a wide array of disciplines taught by Penn faculty, staff, and visiting scholars. Academic advising, access to University learning resources, and college admission workshops are also provided. Coding Camps Summer, 2022 Our Coding Camps are designed to enable students to explore their interests in a fun, high-touch learning environment and ignite an academic spark in the business and technology behind the games and apps you use every day. What is Penn Summer Prep?The Penn Summer Prep Program allows ambitious students to enroll in two undergraduate-level modules from across disciplines while benefiting from the rich educational resources of the University. Students can also experience college life on Penn's historic campus and explore the vibrant city of Philadelphia.
How much is Upenn summer program?Tuition for the 2022 Penn Summer Prep program is $5,700 and includes program fees and residential costs. If you attend a School District of Philadelphia public or charter high school, you may be eligible to attend Penn Summer Prep free of charge with a Penn Summer Scholarship.
How long is summer school in Pennsylvania?Programs operate typically for four or five weeks, for four to five days, with six instructional hours per day. All campus programs require a minimum of 110 hours of instruction each summer. The content (i.e. curriculum) changes each summer so eligible PA-MEP students can attend for three years and not repeat content.
