Thalaivi (2021) is the latest Tamil movie starring Kangana Ranaut in the character of Jayalalithaa, Arvind Swami in the role of late Chief Minister M G Ramachandran. written by KV Vijayendra Prasad of Baahubali fame while directed by A. L. Vijay. The film also stars actors Madhoo, Prakash Raj, Jisshu Sengupta, Bhagyashree, and Poorna. The film is produced by Vishnu Vardhan Induri and Shaailesh Singh. a ‘U’ certification. Apart from this movie, Kangana will also be seen in the action films Dhaakad and Tejas. The multilingual film was rescheduled to release in Theaters on September 10, 2021. The movie will be released initially in three languages, mainly Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Later the makers will dub the movie into Kannada and Malayalam languages while thalaivi release in OTT. As the Govt of Tamil Nadu has given permission for the reopening of Theaters, the movie is schedule for a Theatrical release on the same day in all languages.
