To access and manage your Thank You List:

Go to Thank You List & Returns.
To manage your Thank You List, find the person for whom you've written a note. On a mobile device, you need to select the item.
Track the thank you notes you've sent to your gift givers by checking the box next to Already thanked your gifters? Keep in mind, checking this box doesn't send a thank you note, but is for tracking the thank you notes you have personally sent.

Note: Your Thank You List shows the names and addresses of people who bought items from your Baby Registry. Some gift givers don't share their address, so their address isn't displayed. Gifts purchased by the Baby Registry owner don't show in the Thank You List.

We automatically create a Thank You List for items purchased from your Custom Gift List.

To manage your Thank You List:

Go to Custom Gift List and select the Custom Gift List you'd like to view.
Select the Thank you List button.
You can see the names and addresses of people who bought from your gift list.

Note:

If gift-givers opt to share their address with the list owner, it will appear in the Thank You List address column.

If you set up a wedding registry with Amazon, they helpfully have a "thank-you list" view.
Amazon says, "This list can be used as a reference when sending your thank-you notes after the wedding."

However, if you happen to be given something which is no longer for sale, it drops the item off the list, and is replaced with a useless statement saying, "This product is no longer available."

Of course you don't care whether it's available or not, you only care what it IS, so that you can send your thank-you note, but Amazon won't tell you that.

Amazon is already your go-to for almost everything you need or want at home, from a new TV to spare batteries to groceries you forgot to pick up for that dinner you’re hosting later tonight. So it only makes sense to set up your wedding registry there, too. After all, you probably already have a wish list going, it’s easy for your guests to shop there, and your gifts will arrive faster than you can pick a honeymoon destination.

Here's everything you need to know about setting up an Amazon wedding registry and some inspiration for gift ideas.

How to set up an Amazon wedding registry

To get started, you'll need to enter your and your partner's names.

Like with everything on Amazon, it's incredibly easy and quick to set up a registry. Getting one started only takes seven steps. First, go to Amazon Wedding Registry.

Fill out your and your partner's names.
Put in the date of your wedding. If you don't know the date yet, you can just estimate and you can update it later.
Put in the size of your wedding (how many guests you're inviting). This lets the Gift Advisor feature make recommendations on the right number of gifts. You can always adjust the guest count later.
Say if you're registering anywhere else. The great thing about the Amazon wedding registry is that it's a universal registry. So not only can you shop on Amazon, but you can also shop at other sites and add those products to your registry using the Amazon Assistant browser extension. So basically, shop anywhere you want on the internet.
Enter in the address where you want your gifts to be sent. If your guests are Prime members, their shipping is free, and you also have 180 days to return your registry gifts.
Decide if you want your registry to be public (searchable on Amazon), shareable (only shared if you provide the link to people), or private (only visible to yourself). Amazon also has a partnership with TheKnot.com, and you can opt-in for your registry to be searchable there, too.
Decide if you want to sign up for emails and receive news and gift recommendations. Click on "Create your registry" and you're ready to start adding gifts.

You can visit your list by going to the Amazon Wedding Registry page or going to Account & Lists on the homepage and selecting the Wedding Registry option in the drop-down menu.

Other options that Amazon provides include:

Group gifting: If you turn on this option, multiple wedding guests can contribute to more expensive items (hello, new OLED TV!).
Completion discount: You can get up to a 20% discount when you complete your registry.

Once your wedding registry is set up, Amazon gives you some tips to help build out your list.

You can add literally any product on Amazon to your registry. On every product detail page, there's an "Add to Wedding Registry" button that once clicked, automatically puts the product into your registry.

If you're looking to narrow down the options, you can use the Gift Advisor feature and get recommendations based on your preferences and price levels. Amazon also has curated collections and a list of popular gifts to help you get inspiration. The registry automatically tracks who bought what, so it's easy to send thank you notes. And if there are any outstanding gifts on your registry that weren't purchased, after the wedding, you can buy them yourself for up to 20% off.

Registry items can be broken out into price ranges, from $0 to $25 to gifts that cost $150+.
