Beach House - Thank Your Lucky Stars LP Vinyl Record
2015’s "Thank Your Lucky Stars" is the sixth full-length release from Baltimore dream pop duo Beach House. Another signature work, “Thank You” is a familiar mix of warm tones and chilly sentiments. Full of melancholy beauty, it's music for late nights, for falling adrift in slow dark waters and gazing numbly at the glowing moonlight.
“Thank Your Lucky Stars” is little darker, a little more stripped back, more lyrically-driven and experimental than other Beach House works. These new sonic territories further cement their consistency while offering something entirely new. Another compelling release in a brilliant discography.

I really need this beautiful record in my collection :(
willing to trade for a colored depression cherry hmu !
I like this album better than Depression Cherry, so far.
Sounds great, next to no noise except a few quiet clicks between 2 songs on side B.

After hearing the 2nd release from Beach House this year i have to admit: DISAPPOINTING. as the live show 2015 too. In addition: why this vinyl release costs around 25 Euro in EU (for just a single Vinyl without CD, just packed in a gatefold cover)?
My copy has light pops and crackles but I'm sure it's cause it's a virgin
Great record, and no, my copy is very quiet, with low surface noise and no more than a few low tics on the whole LP. I did vacuum clean it before playing though. Very pleased.
Anyone else getting a fair amount of crackle throughout? Especially the first side. (Yes, I have cleaned it, no I don't have a Crosley)
Great music, really solid offering here. A lot to like, not much to complain about, a good companion to DC. Different enough that I feel like I actually got two distinct albums from Beach House this year.Edited 7 years ago
Stripped down in terms of production and over all song arrangement.
As always, great compositions and the vocals are very relaxed and progressively confident.
It's mellow sound reminds me of some Galaxy 500 and very early Sugar Plant.
Not as emotional or psychedelic as Depression Cherry, but a nice addition in the Beach House cannon.Hi Beach House lovers!!! I would be willing to exchange a copy of the Loser Edition of "Depression Cherry" for a copy of the Loser Edition of "Thank Your Lucky Stars". Send me a private message if you're interested :-)
