The body Keeps the score free pdf Reddit

Wow, I juts realized that a new reply has been posted almost weekly for the past 4 years. I came here to find the book, which I did, thankfully. From having experienced uninterrupted bouts of trauma since childhood, then since 2017 until present, nothing and no one has been able to help. No therapy helped, nothing. It comes down to having a community and informing others around us of trauma and the effects we live. From panic attacks to body pains, this ignored entity is dumped into a category of mental illness and hypochondria. The more I try to explain my pain to others the more they judge me, which, causes more trauma. Its a paradox circle that cant be fixed. This leds to loneliness and isolation. The true crisis of public health.

The author of this book, Bessel van der Kolk, will be doing a talk at Stanford during oct. I wish it wasnt zoom, but it is. its open to all people and there should be a question session at the end as well.
