The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy is an American animated television series created by Maxwell Atoms for Cartoon Network. The series originally premiered as segments of Grim & Evil on August 24, 2001. The segments were spun-out into their own series on June 13, 2003 (although the 2003 episodes were also produced originally for Grim & Evil), and continued to air until October 12, 2008. A spin-off film, titled Underfist: Halloween Bash, aired on October 12, 2008. Show
A total of 78 half-hour episodes were produced, including one hour-long Holiday special and four feature-length TV films, bringing the total number of episodes to 86, in the form of 160 segments. The episode "Billy and Mandy Moon the Moon" was part of Cartoon Network's "Invaded" event, which included other shows such Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Ed, Edd n Eddy, My Gym Partner's a Monkey, and Camp Lazlo, with Billy & Mandy being the last to air. The shorts revolved around Billy's birthday and aired on "The Grim and Courage Hour", an hour-long block of episodes from The Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy and Courage the Cowardly Dog. It aired for four days in October 2006 on Cartoon Network. Mandy: And another thing- [sees Billy holding Grim's scythe] Mandy: what's he doing? Grim: [confused] Well, I'm not exactly sure [excitedly] Grim: but I know it's gonna be good! Billy: Mandy, you're a big jerk! [fires smoke at Mandy from Grim's scythe] Billy: but we're gonna cut you down to size! There, now you're nothing but... Mandy: [Mandy punches Billy, flattening him. The camera reveals that Mandy is a giant] A big jerk? PlotAs Grim cannot take any more abuse from Mandy, Billy decides to help him by using Grim's scythe to shrink Mandy. However, he messes up the spell and Mandy becomes a giant instead. She crushes Billy under her giant fist and walks away with the ground shaking under her heaviness. She destroys Billy's house and saves Billy from Sperg. Eventually, Mandy wants to return to her normal size after seeing the inconvieniences (of having to pay a lot for 3,000 cheeseburgers and falling to the other side of the world) of being a giant. She is also still growing bigger from time to time (she finally becomes large enough to crush her house) and Billy is the only one who can change her back. However, Billy refuses to and Mandy becomes bigger than the world, and she is sent into the "Realm of the Infinite", where Mandy meets other creatures that are forced to grow bigger than the entire universe, and as usual, Mandy bosses them around. When Grim can't take any more abuse from Mandy, Billy tries using Grim's scythe to shrink her to mouse size. However, instead of shrinking, Mandy becomes a giant and destroys Billy's house. Although Mandy enjoys being a giant for a while, there are inconveniences, as she keeps growing as time passes, and she wants to return to her normal size. However, Billy is the only one who can cancel the curse he put on Mandy, and he refuses to do so. In the end, Mandy grows bigger than the planet, and she finds herself in the "Realm of the Infinite" with other creatures that, like her, grow at infinite pace. Naturally, Mandy starts bossing them around to please her.
