Waste of time

This story was not so good....not so bad,kind of clingy romance plot.At furst i thought it's gonna be little different but no it's not so different,but ok,and i don't know if i'm the one who felt that their faces are little bit fatty😅

Great start but the end half of the story falls flat... fl becomes unlikable and the characters are flat...

Most characters in webtoons that I've read tend to be very flat and have no character growth, I wouldn't say this is any different but there are some exceptions. The female lead in this is really smart, and an actual dynamic character, but because everything develops fast throughout the story it's hard to say either of the characters really grow or change.

The duke is permanently toxic, even if not to Areum.

A lot of interesting plot turning points are suggested and then quickly tucked away to be forgotten. The romance is goofy at times and is nothing that's not been done before (I don't think these kinds of webcomics are meant to be taken seriously anyways; they're all silly and exist purely for entertainments' sake), but it was cute and I enjoyed it for what it was. Just about all webtoons start interesting and then falter, it's not always the authors fault though, if ever.

Edit: Ending was rushed and anticlimactic. The most interesting plot line with the prince was completely thrown away and left unresolved. The last chapter before the epilogues felt like the author was suddenly axed by the publisher, because the chapters prior seemed to be leading up to an intense climax. This story had potential, but there seems to be a trend with webtoons starting well but meandering in the middle and absolutely flopping the ending. I am just sorely disappointed.

Although reincarnation, maids, and vampires are super cliche, the main character is very likable and makes the story easy to like as well. This is important, because the whole story is focused on their relationship. She makes the most out of her situation and does what she must to survive even if that means begging and sucking up big time. I'm still torn on whether I like the Duke, because

although he's on the path to redemption, he's still a douche to everyone but her just because he likes her. You can clearly see why the Duke falls for her, but the story has a bit of convincing to do to make vice versa happen. I also really liked how she didn't simply forget about the way they met. He threatened to kill her! And in many similar stories, the premise/crazy beginning is just glossed over, but she didn't forget and brought it up to his face. Although he is very kind to her now, I'm waiting for the eventual blowup when she realizes he's not kind to everyone else i.e. he really will kill you.
