The book was a bit used but perfect for what I needed. Thanks! Reviewed in the United States on April 4, 2022 Seller answered question about book promptly. Item arrived in perfect condition. Thank you! Reviewed in the United States on December 7, 2019 If you are looking for a text book with literature worth keeping for your future as a teacher after completing college, this is not what I find being one of them. It does not hold anything you are likely to be teaching to your students. These writers and authors are foreign writers whom you are likely to have never heard of because my professor had only heard of maybe a quarter of those whom we read--and he has a doctorate in world literature. The ones I personally know well are Dostoyevsky and Tolstoy--19th century Russian authors--who are in this. You might know some of these others, but this is world literature, and the point is to broaden you to new writers. I'll let you decide on whether or not to keep it after your class. Reviewed in the United States on November 25, 2021 Can’t wait to dig into this book!
