The second season of The Owl House was announced on November 21, 2019, ahead of the series premiere.[2] It premiered on June 12, 2021,[1] and ended on May 28, 2022.[3]
It consists of 21 episodes.
Plot
The second season follows the main characters working together to get Luz back to the Human Realm, Eda to face her curse and search for the truth about King's past while confronting Emperor Belos and his minions, who are preparing for the "Day of Unity", which wants the "unification of the Demon and Human Realms".

Trivia
- Like the first season, the episode titles form an acrostic. This acrostic reads, "SEEK THE KEY FEAR THE LOCK".
- Like the first season, every episode of the season features a coded message in the background. The message is "Seething Seas And Puppet Strings He No Longer Dreams Of Kings As Above Rush Darkened Skies As Below His Father Lies."
- Both the first and last episodes of the season have the word "Tide" in their titles.
Production information
- Months before the official premiere, it was announced that Deb Doetzer would be a guest star in this season, voicing Gwendolyn Clawthorne.[31]
- This is the final season to air regular-length episodes, with the third season consisting of three 44-minute episodes.
