Bought this for our 2 year old son. He's a BIG Wiggles fan, having seen a couple of their Christmas DVDs (Wiggly Wiggly Christmas and Yule Be Wiggling) prior to this one. He LOVES this DVD and can't get enough of it. What we really like about the DVD:

- The songs are really catchy and easy to sing along with. Our son is still learning to speak so this is a big motivation for him to do so. Learning tone are rhythm are big pluses.
- All the songs have movements with them (as is usually the case with Wiggles songs), so our son rarely watches this sitting down. He'll be on his feet dancing, singing or pretending to play the guitar/organ. My wife and I will be dancing with him, so it's great exercise for the whole family!
- A lot of the songs have lessons in them, like putting on your seatbelts ("Big Red Car"), saying sorry (Captain Feathersword's "Sorry Again"), parts of your body ("Nicky Nacky Nocky Noo") and wearing hats ("Hat on My Head"). I like the segment with Admiral Goodbloke ("I Want to Wear The Jacket") and how they teach you that being funny has nothing to do with what you wear. Not sure if our 2-year-old can appreciate that yet though.
- The DVD comes with two bonus episodes of the Network Wiggles TV show. Nice ones too.

Even though there weren't as many kids here as the other DVDs (you only really see them in "Five Little Joeys"; much of the dancing and other stuff is done by the Wiggly Dancers, most of the time dressed as Feathersword's crew), our son didn't seem to mind.

The 72 minutes in the product description is for everything (show + bonus features) in the DVD. The main show runs for about 40-plus minutes. Highly recommended!

My daughter enjoyed this dvd but I was really hoping it would have her favorite song on it โ€œtoot toot chugga chugga big red carโ€ It did not , which was a huge surprise for me . She still watches it but the whole purpose of this purchase was me thinking the song would be on it . I didnโ€™t realize they had another song about the red car that is not the popular one all the Wiggle living kids rave about

I was aware that this new DVD was a "remake" of Dance Party and bought it anyway. I really don't blame them a bit for putting it out. Dance Party was made when they were still "unknowns". The sets were bargain basement and sometimes Anthony is wearing a green short-sleeved shirt and the Big Red Car is made of cardboard. Yes, they had the enthusiasm of being a new act and of being much younger in the earlier version but they have new audiences with every new crop of kids born each year. I think it is perfectly understandable that they want to do something a little more "polished".

For us, the Wiggles can do no wrong! We would buy a DVD of them clipping their toenails! We LOVE them in our household. They have brought our family tremendous joy over the past several years. We saw them in concert last fall and they were WONDERFUL! I will take them over the other saccharin children's performers and television shows any day. I have heard their songs 1,000 times and STILL like them. They saved us from having to endure Barney and his ilk. Our son is always singing their songs, and dancing to the music, and playing with his Wiggles toys. He can't get enough of them.

No, this isn't our favorite of their productions but we like it anyway. We think they still have a sense of fun and loads of energy. We love the Wiggles and always will! Long Live the Wiggles!

I admit it-I didn't want to like these guys-but after watching this video, I'm on Team Wiggles now. My daughter LOVES to dance along with the professional dancers, as well as sing with the Wiggles Men. Super cute. Super fun, and played a part in our lifestyle change. We just moved, and were without internet or TV for 3 weeks. The only time I could un-pack was when Frankie was entertained by my new buddies. It's like a variety show for pre-schoolers. After the 3 weeks, I decided NOT to bother with TV.

Quality DVD and all children enjoy the Wiggles and their zany escapades. The kids will love following the Wiggles as they hop in the big red car and go on exciting adventures. Don't be surprised if the adults in your house start finding themselves singing the fun songs from the movie. Price was very reasonable and item was shipped quickly. The items were packaged very well and arrived in great condition.

This sure is not Barney ? I suppose it is "OK" ! For Me, I saw How hyper My Grand children became! Looking at a bunch of Young & Older Men jumping around making LOUD music is NOT a good way to teach Your Young Ones anything? All I got out of it is it makes younger Children start into bad Habits earlier! My Grown Sons knew More about these NO STORY DVDS than My Grandsons !

I'm really not sure why they named it "Here Comes the Big Red Car." There's not much mention of it. They start the dvd off with a Big Red Car song, but not the "Toot, toot, chugga, chugga" one. Then most of it is about Captain Feathersword. I like his character, but not that much and would have liked to have known it was mostly about him. However, what really matters is that my son enjoys it.

Excellent did. Great songs. This is not the original version. This is a 2006 re-make. Not the 1995 version. Still fantastic. Well worth it.
