A blue border appears on the face of my watch. I originally thought it was a notification but it appears even after there are none. It appears on all my watch faces.
I have updated the software, restarted the watch, and rest to factory settings.
How do I remove it?

I have exactly the same issue and I know by turning Assistive Touch off, it helps. But I just want the ugly borders gone, not the Pinch/Clench shortcuts. Can Apple please fix this by allowing us to toggle these frames/boxes on and off?

I can't seem to find that toggle... any suggestions on where they've hid it?

Sep 24, 2021 5:16 AM in response to bedstuygal Hello, bedstuygal! Thanks for reachig out to the Apple Support Communities! It looks like you havce a blue outline on your Apple Watch. You've done excellent steps so far to remove it and, at this point, we would recommend
reaching out to Apple directly by checking out this link to Get Support and they will be more than happy to proceed with additional steps. Have a terrific day! what this border is. I think it has something to do with the small icons that show momentarily when you raise your wrist to look at the face - like the red dot and walkie talkie symbols that flash. Question marked

Turning off AssistiveTouch as well. That feature takes a lot of time to master the skill set.

You are writing other users on this user to user only forum, none of whom have any input into what Apple can or can't do.
If you want to make a suggestion to Apple, use this link --> Feedback - Apple Watch - Apple

You can also leave assistive touch on, and just toggle of the "Visual Signal" setting inside the assistive touch settings.

You can toggle off the "Visual Signal" setting inside the assistive touch menu on the Watch app on the phone, while leaving assistive touch on. That will leave the assistive touch functionality active, but disable the irritating blue halo (I hated it too!).
