Show Elsa/Getty Images Wednesday, the New York Jets' Antonio Cromartie called out Tom Brady in the media. He arrogantly called him an "A@# hole" and intelligently added, "F@#$ him." Thursday, Terrell Suggs had his own opinions about the New England Patriots quarterback. Suggs said Brady's Super Bowl victories were "questionable," referencing the "tuck rule" game and Spygate. The hip-hop artist Nas once said, "People fear what they don't understand, hate what they can't conquer." Now, I'm no Patriot fan by any stretch of the imagination, but it's easy to see why players are so open in attacking Brady. The New England Patriots were the team of the decade. Tom Brady led that squad to three Super Bowl titles. The Patriots didn't just put it all together for three seasons either. In 2007, they went undefeated in the regular season and set an NFL record for the most points scored. Since 2001, they've been the premier team in the entire NFL, and Brady has been the key cog in the Patriots' winning machine. Antonio Cromartie has never won a championship. The closest he came in his San Diego days to reaching the Super Bowl came in 2007. The Chargers reached the AFC Championship Game only to be sent home by none other than Tom Brady and the Patriots. That was the second straight year the Patriots ended Cromartie and the Chargers' season. Terrell Suggs has never won a championship either. The Patriots never handed the Ravens an early exit during Suggs' career. Still, he's been witness to New England manhandling the Tennessee Titans, Indianapolis Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers, three teams that began Suggs' vacation earlier than planned. It's very easy to hate Tom Brady. He's a winner. Everybody hates a winner. He has a supermodel wife. Well, at least Antonio Cromartie has him beat in this one, if you count quantity. He has those annoying fans who preach his name. Whatever it is, it seems like it's Tom Brady vs. the world right now, and no one should even be surprised.
