I hit ending and was so disappointed. I don't ever watch EDs so I immediately stopped the episode. Everyone on Reddit was talking about how good the ending was and I just didn't get it. Went back and watched to see I missed the real ending. I too was left with wanting more. I also recommend Amagami SS level 2 · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/n0
You're miss on a whole world of greatness Tsuki Ga Kirei(that's the name of the ED lol) in particular is especially amazing. (shamelessly slightly off topic)Joshiraku's ED is one I've been hooked onto recently level 1 The only anime that I can think of that has the "same ending" like Tsuki ga Kirei is CLANNAD. It's probably the only anime that I have watched that has vastly explored the question "So... what happens after they start dating? What happens in their daily lives after that?" level 1 · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/legwkio Just rewatch Tsuki ga Kirei, that's what I did... level 1 · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/Setra94 Can't see your MAL on mobile, but Clannad and Amagami SS. The sequels to both make it worth it. You can't skip their prequels BTW, some people think you can. level 2 · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/legwkio Clannad is the closest thing to Tsuki ga Kirei in terms of quality and feel and FEELZ... ALL THEM FEELZ. hold me... level 2 Op · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/StevenAll Just checked my list and added Amagami. Also Clannad is a good example of why my ratings should be ignored. I had it dropped 1 episode in at a 4. I think it was mainly due to the art, (watching Clannad after toradora as someone completely new to anime was like a slap to the balls) but I have come to be more accepting of less than "good" art styles in anime. level 1 · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/OtakuClint At work so I can't open MAL, but Orange is quite a good one. I didn't watch the anime for this - I own the entire manga, but you do get a full closure ending (not like TgK where they start dating early and go on to a bit more) Golden Time is another one where you see a bit more of the Male/Female protagonist's relationship more so than shoujo manga where it takes an entire season for them to hold hands. It's by the same author as Toradora if you ever watched that. level 2 Golden Time is a train wreck. How is that happy?
level 1 · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/adi_mk_ii Check out Nodame Cantabile level 1 · 5 yr. ago https://kitsu.io/users/crobemeister Read Onanie Master Kurosawa. You won't be disappointed. level 2 Op · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/StevenAll That synopsis. Wow. I will most definitely give it a shot. Thanks for the suggestion! level 2 Op · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/StevenAll Read it and it was easily one of the best things I have ever read. Thanks a ton for that suggestion! level 1 My vanilla romance anime recommendation is Rec. TgK was better but I'm closer to the Rec age group so it appeals more to me. level 2 Op · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/StevenAll Sounds interesting! Added to my ptw and thanks for the sgeugstion. level 1 · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/ThisWasATriumph level 2 Op · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/StevenAll Rewatching the first episode as you commented! level 1 I agree with everyone who recommends Clannad. I just finished it, and it rivals tsuki ga kirei as a romance but is several magnitudes higher in feels. A more comfy romance that shows a couple as they grow up would be itazura na kiss. level 2 Op · 5 yr. ago https://myanimelist.net/profile/StevenAll Had it in my ptw, but it is now high priority! Thanks for the suggestion. Does Tsuki ga Kirei have manga?Tsuki ga kirei | MANGA.
Is Tsuki ga Kirei complete? It aired on April 6, 2017 on Tokyo MX with further broadcasts on MBS, BS11 and TVA then ended on June 29, 2017.
Did Kotaro and Akane end up together?I hated how Tsukigakirei ended. It ended with Akane and Kotaro making their feelings known to each other, despite the fact that Akane's moving away. They kept in touch throughout their high school and college life, then eventually got married. The anime ended with them surrounded by the family, and their baby.
Does Tsuki ga Kirei have a sad ending? It was probably the most emotional ending I have seen ever. At first, it was a sad feeling. We didn't know what was going to happen after Akane's move. And then they show what happens next and the tears continued, but this time because we get to see their relationship evolve until they get married and get a baby.
