Two people pull on a rope in a tug of war each pull with a 300 N force what is the net force

#BrainlyFast

Problem:

Two people pull on a rope in a tug-of-war. Each pull with 300 N force. What is the net force?

Note:

  • Net force is unbalanced Force. It can make the object at rest to move or it can make the moving object to stop.

When the two people are pulling the rope in the same direction therefore the net force exerted by them will be added. The object will move if its at rest and it will stop if its in motion.

Solution:

300 N + 300 N  =  600 N in the same direction

When the two people are pulling the rope with opposite direction, therefore the net force is equal to zero and the force is balanced. The object will not move if its at rest and will not stop if its in motion.

Solution:

300 N - 300 N  =  0 N ( balanced force )

A rope is being put by two people on opposite sides of the road. Along this direction, by a fourth of 300 million, and on the other end along the opposite direction, with the same magnitude of force. So the net force on the rope is a Cuban. A Cuban is in the net. If you think this election is positive, then 300 newton 0-300 Noting is what you should do. The net may be on the rope. Is from Cuba. There were 20. The net force on the road is what this is. If we consider this rope and one person as a system, then this is the rope and the person exerts a force of 300Newton along this direction. The rope will exert a force on the person that is equivalent to F since it is the recovery. There were 20. 300 newton minus F is all we have. The rope on the person is 300 note. You can see that the role absorbs 300 newton. It was on each person.

so the net force on the rope will be zero Newton, and the reason for that is because the rope is not accelerating. It's in study equilibrium. So if each person pulls the rope with 300 Newton force, then it's in static equilibrium. So the Net force becomes zero. And for the second part of the rope exerts 300 Newton force on each person as well in the direction direction opposite to the direction in which the person is pulling because, ah, again, if the if this person is pulling the rope this way, so there will be some opposite force or there's there will be a force that open that will be opposite in the direction off the person's pulling. So that means the rope, which has been exerted by the rope so the rope except exerts 300 Newton force on each person. Thank you

What is the net force of 300 N force?

If the two people are pulling against each other, the total force is 300 N in the rope is 300 N, or a net of zero.

What is the net force in tug of war?

In a game of tug-of-war, teams apply forces in terms of pulls on the rope. On the rope, two pulls act in opposite directions. The net force becomes the difference of the two forces (pulls) and the rope moves in the direction of the larger force (pull).

What force pull on rope in a tug war?

These two forces are called action and reaction forces and are the subject of Newton's third law of motion. In this activity, the rope is the means to transfer forces. The first team to tug is the action force, causing the pull on the rope, as the reaction force , the other teams rope end "feels" the pull.
