Five Nights at Freddy's: Security Breach is only available on a handful of consoles at launch, which has left a portion of players eager to get in on the fun left on the sidelines. Despite releasing on Dec. 16—just in time for the Christmas holiday on Dec. 25—Freddy Fazbear and his crew of 80s-inspired rockstars may not make it off wishlists before the year is over.

FNAF: Security Breach is only available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Microsoft Windows PCs at the time of writing. Fortunately, it won't be this way forever. Sony has confirmed that, while the game is meant to be exclusive to these platforms for the first three months after its launch.

It's possible the game could make its way to Xbox One, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch consoles sometime after February 2022.

As the game is already supported on Microsoft PCs, it makes sense that porting it to Microsoft's consoles—the Xbox One and Xbox Series S|X—would be in the cards for the company. It won't make the jump until after February 2022, however, according to a current exclusivity contract held by Sony.

Here in the UK, that means that British players will be able to play FNAF Security Breach from 2am BST in the early hours of 17th November.

The FNAF Security Breach price appears to be £39.99, judging by the pre-order listing on the GAME retailer's website. Contrastingly, the product pages on the Steam and PlayStation digital storefronts currently only list the option to 'wishlist' the game.

FNAF Security Breach will be available on PS5, PS4 and PC via Steam. This does beg the question of when exactly it will be available elsewhere.

As for FNAF Security Breach on Xbox, it does seem to be coming but we have no idea when yet. Rumours suggest we could see it in March 2022, but we will keep you posted as we hear more. Same with the Nintendo Switch port that we're hopeful for.

We know when the game is coming out, on PlayStation and PC at least, but what is the story of FNAF Security Breach?

Stuck in Freddy Fazbear’s Mega Pizzaplex, you play as Graham, someone who will soon wish they had chosen to enter a chicken restaurant instead. Gregory will be pursued by Roxy, Chica and Monty and they have the help of S.T.A.F.F. bots to track you, But you do have an ally this time in Freddy, but will that be enough to survive until morning?

Freddy's powers can be recharged and will need to be quite regularly, but you can hop inside him to try and make your way around the Pizzaplex undetected.
