This Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is a generic transmission code, which means it applies to OBD-II equipped vehicles. Although general, specific repair steps may differ depending on the brand / model. Show The knock sensor tells the engine computer when one or more of your engine's cylinders "knock", ie, they explode the air / fuel mixture in such a way as to provide less power and cause engine damage if it continues to run. The computer uses this information to tune the engine so that it does not knock. If your knock sensor on block # 2 generates a low output voltage (possibly less than 0.5V) then it will trigger DTC P0332. This Code P0332 may appear intermittently, or the Service Engine light may remain on. Other DTCs associated with the knock sensor include P0325, P0326, P0327, P0328, P0329, P0330, P0331, P0333, and P0334. symptomsYou may notice handling problems, including fluctuations in engine speed, loss of power, and possibly some fluctuations. There may be other symptoms as well. reasonsPossible causes of DTC P0332 include (but are not limited to):

What is Bank 2 knock sensor 2?These sensors simply sense when your engine is “knocking,” a term used to describe when the air/fuel mixture powering the engine combusts too early, which can harm the engine and reduce the available power. This bank of diagnostic codes indicates that there's a problem with the knock sensor 2 in bank 2.
What causes low input on knock sensor?A fault in the knock sensor circuit or its connectors. An air/fuel ratio that's too lean. A problem with the cooling system. A defective EGR (exhaust gas recirculation) system.
What is the knock sensor 2 circuit? It sends a message to the vehicle's computer or powertrain control module (PCM) whenever it detects that one or more of the engine cylinders are knocking. The PCM then uses the information to adjust the ignition timing in order to prevent more knocking.
Is knock sensor code serious?P0325 is generally not a serious code and should be able to be driven without issue to a safe location once the malfunction occurs.
