Daily Power Defense is a light-weight serum which supports the skin’s health and function. This powerful antioxidant-rich serum will provide the skin with hydration and strength. It will also build up a tolerance in your skin, which will enable you to use further active ingredient products. This product should be implemented in all skincare programmes to keep the skin looking its best and preventing any future free-radical damage.

The key ingredients are ceramide 6, retinol, enzymes, matrixyl 3000 and Vitamins A and E.

• Ceramide 6 supports the skin and protects the skin’s barrier function from damage.
• Retinol boosts collagen and helps with cell renewal. It will even out skin tone.
• Ultrasomes and roxisomes are both enzymes which will activate and speed up the repair of DNA damage. This will help the recovery process to aid the health of the skin.
• Matrixyl 3000 is an anti-ageing ingredient which goes into the dermal layer of the skin’s structure. This stimulates collagen production and diminishes the appearance of any fine lines and wrinkles by tightening the skin.
• Vitamins A and E provide antioxidant protection which will fight against free radicals to protect the skin from pollutants.

Who can use ZO's Daily Power Defense?

This gentle, yet effective serum can be used on all skin types, tones or textures. This is a ZO golden product which is filled with anti-ageing benefits – what’s not to love! It will protect and correct any damage which has already been done and will provide an even skin tone. It also promotes cell turnover leading to a healthy glow.

However, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, we would suggest avoiding this product. This is because the product contains some ingredients which may not be safe for pregnant or breastfeeding women. However, if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, there are some fantastic iS Clinical products which could work as an alternative.

When and how do I use Daily Power Defense?

You should apply ZO Daily Power Defense twice a day, both morning and evening, across your entire face and neck. We recommend applying 2-3 pumps to your fingertips and massage the product into the skin to increase absorption, penetration and stimulation. You can apply Daily Power Defense around the eye bone alongside an eye serum. However, do not use over your eyelids.

In the morning, after applying the serum to the complexion, follow with your ZO sun protection. A tip for oilier skin suffers – if you find the serum to be too heavy for the skin, you could try using it once in the evening.
