After an incredible showcase between the Yankees and White Sox in Dyersville, Iowa, the Field of Dreams game returns with an NL Central showdown between the Cubs and the Reds.
Although neither team is playing particularly well this year, the two storied clubs should bring justice to the beautiful site, featuring corn stalks in the outfield and a replicate farmhouse beyond the fence in left.
The Reds and Cubs, founded in 1881 and 1870, respectively, have two of the most storied histories in MLB. So while marquee names may be missing from this matchup, it's steeped in a division rivalry that started on Apr. 19, 1890, back when the Cubs were the Chicago Colts.
