Known as ‘The Wild Update’, the latest update in Minecraft has many new elements that Minecraft players around the world can’t wait to sink their teeth into. Here’s everything you need to know about the Minecraft 1.19 update, including the release date, all new features and more. Release DateUPDATE 8th June 2022: The Minecraft 1.19 update is now available! Head into the game now in order to install. New Features‘The Wild’ update is now available in Minecraft. Here are all the new features involved. Deep DarkThe Deep Dark is one of two new biomes in the Minecraft 1.19 update. It can only be found deep underground and is home to one of the new mobs, The Warden. Inside the dark depths, players will find Sculk Blocks, Sculk Veins, Sculk Shriekers, Sculk Sensors, and Sculk Catalysts. The Deep Dark biome is the only place that Ancient Cities can spawn. Ancient CitiesAncient Cities can only be found in the Deep Dark biome and contain chests filled with rare items. The WardenThe Warden is a mob that lives in the Deep Dark biome and can be summoned by Sculk Shriekers. He is very aggressive and relies on his sense of smell and hearing to locate his enemies. Mangrove SwampThe Mangrove Swamp is a new biome in The Wild update and is home to a handful of new items. While exploring, players will be able to find new things like Mangrove Trees, Leaves, Logs, Planks, Propagule, Logs, Roots, Moss Carpets, and Propagules. FrogsFrogs are one the new mobs in the Minecraft 1.19 update and can be found in the Mangrove Swamp. They can be grown from Tadpoles, which are another new addition to the game. FroglightTo accompany the frogs, froglights are a new decorative piece that emits a bright light. There are three different kinds that are all created when a frog eats a Magma Cube. So far, players can get Ochre, Pearlescent, and Verdant Froglights. MudOne of the new items in the update is mud, which can be found again in the Mangrove Swamp. It can also be made by using a water bottle on dirt. Players can use mud to make Packed Mud, which can be turned into Mud Bricks. Boat with ChestA simple addition. It’s the boat as you know and love… but this time with a chest! AllayThe final mob is a creature called an Allay. It’s a friendly mob that will seek out dropped items for a player of which is given to them and will only stop seeking that item when you take it away from them.
