What’s the movie about?
The comedy “Step Brothers” is about Dale Doback (John C. Reilly) and Brennan Huff (Will Ferrell). They are about 40 years old and still live with their parents. Dale lives with his widowed father Robert (Richard Jenkins) and Brennan (Will Ferrell) with his divorced mother Nancy (Mary Steenburgen). The two have no jobs and have long since settled into a kind of prolonged childhood. But when Robert and Nancy become a couple the two have to share a room. At first they don’t get along very well, but after an argument with Brennas successful brother Derek (Adam Scott) they join forces. When their parents’ marriage is on the brink of collapse, they come up with a rescue plan…
