When do you unlock suits in Spider-Man PS4

Kain writes video game articles that include tips, tricks, and tutorials. He is especially enthusiastic about the "Call of Duty" series.

The open-world Spider-Man video game, exclusively for the PS4, is very comprehensive. You can explore the monumental city of Manhattan, web-swinging as the iconic hero, saving the day from crime and popular villains like Wilson Fisk. In the beginning of the story, you'll only have access to the classic suit, which ends up getting damaged and ripped. Peter Parker gets a new version of the suit that looks similar, but the spider symbol is larger.

There are a number of eclectic suits for Spider-Man. Many of them have their own unique abilities that you'll be able to utilize in combat against villains that plague the city. This article will explain how to unlock the outfits that are featured in the MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe). The Iron Spider Suit from Avengers: Infinity War is already unlocked if you preordered the game, but you can still earn it manually, fortunately.

The Homemade Homecoming Suit

Peter Parker's homemade suit from Spider-Man Homecoming is relatively easy to unlock. However, it will be somewhat time-consuming to unlock it. While the suit itself does not have any inherent abilities, you can equip powers from others suits to it. In order to unlock the suit, you'll need to collect all the backpacks in the city of Manhattan. There are 55 backpacks to collect. It may seem like a daunting task to collect all the backpacks, but the map will prove to be an indispensable tool.

There are over a half dozen districts in the city. Each one of them will have radio towers that you'll need to fix to unlock more areas of the map. You have to match up the radio waves with the two analog sticks to calibrate them. Make sure to visit and fix all the radio towers in the city to display the locations of the backpacks.

Set a course to a backpack and listen for a beeping sound. The beeping indicates that you're in the vicinity of a backpack. Sometimes you'll have to climb on a ceiling, rooftop, or on the side of a building or other object to find them. In my game, a random citizen actually told me one was nearby. A green light will also indicate backpack locations.

The Stark Suit

The Stark Suit is the one featured in Spider-Man Homecoming and Captain America: Civil War. The suits becomes available when you are level 10 in the game. You need to craft it. You'll need 1 base token, 3 crime tokens, and 1 research token.

Base, Crime, and Research Tokens

You must progress to a certain point in the main story before you can acquire base tokens. There's a part in the story where you go to a construction base that is one of Wilson Fisk's hideouts. You need to beat up a bunch of bad guys that arrive in multiple waves. Afterwards, you'll be able to find other hideouts on the map to get base tokens. Make sure you're prepared, as Spider-Man will be severely outnumbered.

Crime tokens can be acquired by removing the various injustices across the city. It's ideal to unlock all the areas of the map first by visiting the radio towers. That way you'll be able to locate crimes going on in the city much easier. You can press R3 on your PS4 controller to see the red triangle explanation point. Or you can find crimes on your map and set a destination to them when they are transpiring.

The crimes could be an armed robbery, a vehicle police chase, a drug deal, a car crash, or another event. Be prepared, as thugs are often armed with melee weapons or guns. Make use of Spider-Man's skills to prevail. Yank enemy weapons out of their hands and shoot them with webs. Stealth can be valuable in some circumstances.

Research points are obtained by completing side missions for Harry Osborn. Harry is not in the city, but he issues missions to Spider-Man through voice messages. The missions will become available once you progress to a certain point in the story. The icons for research quests are purple on the map. Another way to get research points is by helping Howard capture a bunch of pigeons in the city.

The Stark Suit from Spider-Man Homecoming has an amazing power! It's called the Spider-Bro. It is perhaps one of the most useful powers in the game. It launches out an enhanced version of the Spider-Drone, electrocuting and annihilating multiple enemies! It's great in difficult situations where you're low on health or extremely outnumbered. The design is very similar to the classic suit. The eyes look a bit different.

Iron Spider Suit

You'll have to unlock the Iron Spider Suit if you did not get it with a preorder. The level requirement for the Iron-Spider is level 31. You also need 3 base tokens, 3 challenge tokens, and 4 crime tokens.

The suit power is the spider legs. A bunch of mechanical legs will be attached to Spider-Man's back, allowing you to strike your foes with fury and speed. You can actually swap the power onto other Spider-Man suits, but it looks most aesthetic and suitable on the default.

The Iron Spider Suit is from Marvel's Avenger: Infinity War. The appearance looks especially interesting when it's nighttime. You can enter photo mode in the game to get a better look.

That concludes everything you need to do to unlock all the MCU suits. There are other suits in Spider-Man, but they are unique to the game itself.
