No spoilers! My favorite Spiderman movie of all timelines.

Without going into specifics. Unlike the lackluster Eternals movie I just reviewed, No Way Home is neither lacking nor predictable. I'm pretty good at "this is going to happen next, watch" but this movie was like "You sure 'bout that bruh? Hold my beer". Character development and depth happens pretty quick and effortlessly (*ahem* unlike Eternals). Tons of twists and spins. To the point that I don't recommend getting up to do something for 10 minutes and not pausing it. When you come back there's a good chance you'll have no clue why the thing that's happening now is happening. This isn't the typical happy happy Spiderman movie. There's a couple times where you might have to claim it's just your allergies acting up. It won't be the sadness you asked for, but it'll be the sadness you need. Without sadness there's no happiness. Any cons I have would be directly related to the few plot holes that happen. One being pretty big I think. They pulled me back out of the movie. You know that awesome time when a movie has you engrossed to the point you forget you're sitting on your couch or laying in your bed? This happens a lot in this movie but I get jerked away from that experience when I think "wait... but" anytime I realize a plot hole. There's not many though and it's certainly not enough to not watch it (multiple times even). IMO you can't go wrong renting or buying this movie. Loved it.

It’s Spider-Man doing Spider-Man’s thing

Verified purchase

Like I said before, it’s Spider-Man! I still couldn’t tell you which one but it had Spider-Man in it the typical Marvel way. He jumped, swung from a web and was a Spider-Man. If you like Marvel you know you will probably need to watch it for one clip that leads to the next heroes movie in typical Spider-Man way. If you don’t like Spider-Man don’t watch it, or do either way no one will really know which one you watched unless they know even then it’s Spider-Man who hasn’t had a actual home anyway and even after watching it how does anyone know which home is his or what face is really him. It’s Spider-Man, so just enjoy the spider vibes and don’t overthink it.

One of the best superhero movies I've ever seen

The headline says it all. I love the character development we see in Peter and how he is now entering adulthood, where he has to learn how to handle emotional trauma and grief. It also addresses how he has no choice but to start relying on himself to make decisions, not as a teenager but as someone starting to enter adulthood. I am excited to see where Tom Holland's Spiderman will take us because I think compared to the other iterations, while great, it did not provide a more realistic development of a high school student learning not only to be a hero but to be forced to enter adulthood because of experiencing severe grief and loss.

Tipping the hat to the past

Two big reasons I thought this movie was fun
- all the old villians and spiderman’s come back and that is just super fun and cool to see
- doctor strange: this is by far me and my sons favorite marvel character and we were super excited to see strange and other similar cameos in this one. Since there are no more avengers, this is like as good as it gets.

Enjoyable to the end

Watched this movie with the family and we all really enjoyed the film. Good writing that pulls in the past while creating a new future is a welcome change. Paying homage to the previous entries was a very nice touch and great marketing.

Tom Holland n Benedict Cumberbatch in the same movie? Yes!!

Both these guys are favorite actors of mine. A bit long but hey. At home I could stop it for a minute. I believe this is a combined Sony/Marvel production. Great photography, action, acting, effects. For a modern kid, Spiderman has a lot of altruism. AND he does something about it. Great fun.

Great acting, great direction and great story-telling! Woke free too!

Spiderman:NWH is a blast from start to finish. One of the few Marvel movies I've been able to watch more than once! Excellent story-telling, superb direction (art and film) and hits that nostalgia home for people of all ages! The story also doesn't have any forceful ideology being awkwardly placed within the story so that's also a huge plus.

*SPOILER*

It was great... all the spiders, all together and my teen loved it too. Oh, and it really does showcase that teens don't usually think of the common sense answers... they like to do the first thing that pops into their heads... even the smart ones lol
