Adoption details

If you would like to adopt an animal please take the time email me direct on

Please note that there is an adoption process and in order to ensure that the animals have a safe environment to go to there are some questions that need to be addressed.

We do not want impulse purchases and this adoption process is in order to ensure that piggies and bunnies in care will find safe and loving homes and families.

If you are such a family - I would love to hear from you. Thanks Lyn

What do you do with guinea pigs when you go away?

You can minimise stress by asking someone you trust to provide daily care for your guinea pig at your home while you're away. Live-in care would be ideal, or at least two daily visits. It's helpful to think about whether your chosen pet sitter knows how to take care of guinea pigs if they've not done so before.

Does the Rspca take guinea pigs?

We rescue and rehome all kinds of animals, including guinea pigs!

Can guinea pigs be rehomed?

However, if you simply must rehome your guinea pig or rabbit, you should try to do so yourself before taking them to a shelter. Options for rehoming guinea pigs include listings on the following websites: Guinea Pig Adoption Network: www.gpan.net. GuineaLynx: www.guinealynx.com.
