Previously you could earn 1500 vbucks by levelling your collection book in save the world. The first 1000 were fairly easy to obtain (hit lvl 6 then level 26 for 500 each).

If any of you recently purchased STW when it was on sale and haven't yet obtained these rewards you will no longer be able to do so.

With patch 3.60 epic stated

"Skill Points and V-bucks have been removed from the Collection Book."

I feel this is the beginning of epic removing free vbucks from stw.

Being that the skill tree will be axed skill points wont matter. The new system is up for debate when It drops

As for the collection book hopefully rewards get better instead of 5k schematics or a blue for getting high levels. I'm at 140 now

I haven't confirmed this yet but apparently we can't change our daily vbucks missions anymore either. In the past changing them meant you might get an easier mission or even a mission that granted more vbucks.

I was able to this today so I'm guessing reddit were wrong.

I'm sitting at collection level 137 because I don't want to unlock that legendary llama at 140 or 141. The xp coming up is 50k now for reward, looks nice. Although I jumped from 103 power level to 108 with this new system, I also have over 3 million survivor xp to use. Not sure what's up but I just got a big boost on my PL...

It's worth mentioning that they gave us vbucks in those gifts that came with the update yesterday. Not sure if there was a specific requirement that had to be met to get them, but I got something like 500 or 600 just from logging in and collecting everything.

Me too - was wondering where it came from. Went from 4800 to 5400.

As long as they don’t remove VBucks from daily rewards. I think in 4 more days I get 800 for a reward and another 150 four days after that

In the Collection Book you consume schematics (weapon/trap), heroes, survivors and defenders to put into your collection. You can also recruit/research some items from the book to obtain it. Each item can be put in once and it grants your Collection Book some experience based on the rarity and level of the item. Consuming heroes level up your Collection Book faster than the others. There are rewards up to level 500.

V-Bucks rewards have been removed from the Collection Book in patch v6.30!

It is not advised to put any Epic or Legendary items to the Collection Book because you will need them for the Legendary Transform Keys if you plan to play the game further. Remember that the Collection Book consumes the item from your account inventory. You can unslot items to regain them for 20 V-Bucks. Collection Book doesn’t allow you to consume your favorited items to prevent accidents!

Ways to get items for Collection Book without using V-Bucks

Events grant a lot of Event Specific Llamas without the need to use V-Bucks and some Daily Login Rewards as well as Collection Book levels grant you Llamas. Some Timed Missions, Quests and Storm Shield Defenses rewards Mini-Llamas which grant low tier items.

How do you get the Collection Book in Fortnite?

Accessing The Fortnite Collection Book Before you can even pull up the Collection book screen, you need to have earned at least 10 skill points (if you go straight for the Recycling And Collection Book skill and don't take any detours).

What is the Collection Book Fortnite?

The Collection Book gives rewards for collecting Heroes, Schematics, Defenders, and Survivors in Save the World. Placing any of these into the Collection Book lets the player level up their book which offers a reward of increasing value.
