Europa brings a host of Lost Sectors with it. One of them, the Concealed Void Lost Sector, can be found can be found in the Asterion Abyss, to the north of Charon’s Crossing.

To get there, you will need to jump on your Sparrow when you spawn in near Variks and make you way to the right along the cliffs. Keep going until you each the open area, then look for a large route that goes down underground. Head down here, and you will find the entrance to the Lost Sector in the wall of ice on the left side.

Where is the concealed void lost sector

This is one of the newer style of Lost Sectors that Bungie have introduced in the last few expansions, and you will need to clear each area before an energy wall drops, allow you to venture further inside.

When you get to end, you will find a boss with quite a few smaller enemies with them, and when you take out the boss you will be able to open the Lost Sector cache and get yourself some loot.

The recommended Power Level for this Lost Sector is 1210, so you don’t want to go there too early in the game. You will find plenty of Fallen enemies here when you do hit that Power level.

Concealed Void is a Lost Sector on Europa and it’s one of the locations you can get the Beyond Light Exotic armor pieces. Today I am going to walk through step by step how to tackle this Lost Sector, so if it appears on the daily rotation you have all the info you need to know to get a chance at getting that Exotic Armour.

First of all today I am going to go through the Concealed Void, then I’ll briefly touch on preparing for Legend and Master Lost Sectors plus how to access them, and finally check out some of the Exotic Armour that’s on offer.

Preparation – Weapons, Mods & Power Level

Before you go in you’ll want to do a certain amount of preparation. When you hover over the icon for the Concealed Void Lost Sector on Europa you’ll see the requirements, and it’s important to note the Champions and also the Shields. For example, when looking at the Concealed Void Lost Sector the Champions were Overload and Barrier. Therefore you’ll want to make sure you have Anti-Barrier and Overload mods on your weapons. These mods can be found on the seasonal artifact. Unlock the mods on your seasonal artifact and then place them on your armor before you go in, otherwise, it’s going to be difficult to beat the Champions inside the Lost Sector.

Once you understand the requirements then you’ll want to select a decent loadout that matches the requirements. I have selected Arctic Haze (Auto Rifle) and have a matching Anti-Barrier Auto Rifle mod to take care of Anti-barrier Champions. For Overload, I have been using the Fatebringer and the Overload Handcannon Mod. The burn is ++Solar Damage, which is why I’ve selected Arctic Haze, this is a decent Auto Rifle, plus it’s going to help us tear through those shields in no time at all. For the Power weapon I’ve chosen Anarchy, this is going to deal damage over time and is probably the best weapon for dealing with bosses in Legend or Master Lost Sectors. I’m also using the Breach and Clear mod from the Seasonal Artifact, which really helps to deal with Champions.

Therefore before you go in, check out the requirements for the Lost Sector and craft a build that allows you to beat the champions and break the shields, otherwise a difficult activity is going to be made near impossible.

Finally the power requirements. In Season of the Splicer, Legend Lost Sectors are 1310 and Master are 1340. You can go in under-leveled, but it’s going to make your life pretty rough, so it’s best to level up and reach as close as you can to the power level requirements before going in.

Concealed Void Lost Sector Guide

When you first load into the Lost Sector, the first thing you are going to have to deal with is a bunch of Fallen Shanks and some Dregs. There’s an Overload Champion hiding behind the wall. Use your Overload weapon, in my case, this is the hand cannon, and take him out as quickly as you can. What I tend to do is stun the Champion via the Overload weapon and then send a few Anarchy shots in their direction, and it kills them pretty quickly. Once they are stunned and have a few Anarchy bolts attached, a few more hand cannon shots will take them out nice and easy.

Once you have got rid of the Overload Captain you’ll need to turn the corner and here there’s going to be Dregs with solar shields. Take them out with your Solar Weapon and then you have the big heavy Shank to deal with and some Vandal Snipers in the distance. Pop the shields of the huge Shank with your energy weapon and then take out the Vandals, being careful of their sniper shots. Jump up and through the gap, and it’s onto the next section of the Lost Sector.

The next big obstacle in your path is going to be the Barrier Servitor, and he’s going to be providing protective shields to other shanks and Dregs. There’s also a Captain in the distance which is going to be giving you some trouble, plus you are going to have grenades coming in from left, right and center. I would take out the Captain with a few well-placed Anarchy shots. Check out the shields on the enemies, they will glow in different colours – orange for solar, purple for void and light blue for arc. Our Captain here has arc shields.

Once you’ve dealt with the Captain, try and take out the Barrier Servitor ASAP, using your Antibarrier weapons. Careful as he’s going to provide shields to the Shanks, which will try and attack you, so take him out as soon as you can. The Servitor is going to teleport all over the place, but keep an eye on him, focus your fire and take out the remaining enemies.

Jump over the platforms and then jump up to the right, where the Captain was before. There’s another big Shank with shields to take care of. In my case this was a Solar shield, so I popped them with the Arctic Haze and then fired a few Anarchy shots into it to finish it off. Jump over to the platform where the big Shank was hanging out, and you’ll have some Snipers and an Overload Captain to deal with. It’s probably best to take care of the Snipers first, otherwise, you’re not going to be able to get a clear shot on the Overload Captain. Stun the Captain with your Overload Weapon, shoot a few Anarchy shots to finish him off then it’s onto the next section.

When you jump up to where the Snipers were previously, there are a few Wretches in here that will rush you with spears. What you can do is jump and peak-shoot them, to protect yourself otherwise you might die. Take them out and move onto the next section. This is a little bit of a trap here, as you have a corridor with an Overload Captain, plus exploding Shanks. Run in there and tease out the Exploding Shanks and then run backward. This will draw them out into the open so you can kill them nice and easy. Don’t rush into the corridor, as they will simply explode on you and kill you. Take out the Overload Captain as you have done before with well-placed hand cannon shots, and anarchy and that should finish him off.

Next up, it’s the boss area. Continue down through the underground parts of Europa. The boss room is going to be filled with Dregs and Wretches, look out for them and take them out. Once you do this the boss is going to appear. Try and get some Anarchy shots into him before retreating. What I did was sit back near the entrance and I used my bubble for protection, whilst getting off a few anarchy shots on the boss. There’s a shielded Servitor in here too. It can get quite frantic, but keep an eye on the time, take it slow and methodically pick off the enemies one by one.

Once you’ve done this, open up the chest and congrats you are done! Hopefully that Exotic loot will drop for you. If it didn’t drop the first time, hopefully these tactics will give you a few pointers so you can start to speed run the Lost Sector. I find the Exotic loot tends to drop for me after a few runs, so if you’re not lucky the first time, don’t just give up, try it again and you’ll get the loot.

How to access Legend and Master Lost Sectors

To be able to access Legend and Master Lost sectors you have to do a couple of things:

Reach 1200 power level
Beat the Lost Sectors on regular difficulty (Cosmodrome, Europa, Moon, Tangeled Shore)

Getting to 1200 power should be fairly straightforward, just go out there and play the game, and drops from any activity will help you. Public events, strikes, the crucible – all drops are going to contribute towards getting higher power levels. Once you’ve done that run through the lost sectors on regular mode and you’ll unlock the legend versions. When you have unlocked them they will be indicated on the map by a blue icon with a sword and shield.

Exotic Armour Rewards

Each day at reset time the location rotates for the Legend Lost Sectors, and once you have opened them up by doing them on normally difficulty, you’ll notice them on the map. Each day the reward will rotate too, with Head, Arms, Legs and Chest armour on offer each day.

We’ve had some new Exotics added in Season of The Splicer, all leg armour.

The Path of Burning Steps (Titan)

Firewalker – Solar final blows periodically grant you an escalating bonus to weapon damage. You are harder to slow or freeze with Stasis, and when you break out, you take no damage from doing so, creating a burst of Solar energy around yourself.

Star-Eater Scales (Hunter)

Feast of Light – You gain additional Super energy from Orbs of Power you pick up. While your Super energy is full, picking up an Orb of Power overcharges your Super, causing you to gain a burst of healing when cast and a bonus to your Super damage. At maximum overcharge, you also gain an overshield.

Boots of the Assembler (Warlock)

Blessing of Order – Standing in a healing rift creates Noble Seekers that seek out allies that are not in a rift and heal them. Standing in an empowering rift creates Noble Seekers that grant both you and your ally a damage bonus. Each time a Noble Seeker finds one of your allies, the duration of your rift is briefly extended while you are standing in it.

In Season of the Chosen we had chest armour added.

Cuirass of the Falling Star (Titan Chest) – Increases Thundercrash damage
Omnioculus (Hunter Chest) – Bonus smoke bomb and bonuses for buffing allies
Mantle of Battle Harmony (Warlock Chest) – Increased Super charge rate and damage for matching Subclass and Energy weapon element
In Beyond Light we had Helm’s and Gauntlets added.

Precious Scars (Titan Helm) – Prove your strength, even when coming back from the brink. Upon revives, the Titan gains an Overshield aura that protects the wearer and nearby allies.

Mask of Bakris (Hunter Helm) – Don the Mask to replace the Hunter’s Dodge ability with a longer range Shift ability that also temporarily cloaks the wearer during use.

Dawn Chorus (Warlock Helm) – Feel that sweet burn. The Warlock’s Daybreak projectiles deal extra damage and cause enemies to burn on contact. Gain melee energy each time a burn damages a target.

Icefall Mantle (Titan Gauntlets) – Stand tall against the oncoming hordes with this reinforced armour that replaces the Titan’s Barricade with Overshield, absorbing damage from incoming fire.

Arthrys’s Embrace (Hunter Gauntlets) – The Hunter’s weighted knife gains a second ricochet; rapid precision hits to gain a damage bonus and can temporarily stagger enemies.

Necrotic Grip (Warlock Gauntlets) – A deadly caress, compounded. Melee attacks corrupt enemies with increasing damage over time. Defeating a corrupted combatant spreads the corruption to nearby targets and restores melee energy.
