The annual Carolina Country Music Festival is on track for another exciting round of fun in the sun! The boardwalk at Myrtle Beach is all set to host the three-day event, plus a kick-off concert to build up the weekend’s vibe. So, check out what’s up at the fest! If you’ve got CCMF 2022 tickets, here’s a final checklist – including parking tips – for a hassle-free experience.   

CCMF is known as “East Coast’s largest three-day outdoor country music fest.” The event consistently lives up to that reputation year after year. This year’s edition is no different – even CCMF 2022 VIP tickets are sold-out, and you are lucky if a resale ticket is still up for grabs.   

So, what can you expect at the country music festival? There are four stages featuring over thirty of the best country music artists, including big names like Luke Bryan and Keith Urban. The festival grounds are right on the beach, at the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, for a one-of-a-kind summer experience. Here’s a roundup of all the basics you need to know:

What are the CCMF 2022 dates?  

Carolina Country Music Festival 2022 is from June 9 – June 12 at Myrtle Beach – South Carolina. The kick-off concert on Thursday opens the festival with performances by The Marshall Tucker Band and others. You can catch your favorite stars across the four stages along the beach during the weekend.   

What are the festival timings?  

Gates open for the CCMF 2022 kick-off concert on Thursday, June 9, at 6:00 pm and close at 11:30 pm. On Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, the festival venue is open to pass holders from 1:00 pm to 11:30 pm.

Who’s on the CCFM 2022 lineup?  

The CCFM 2022 kick-off concert begins with Chase Rice, Chris Lane, Frank Ray, The Marshall Tucker Band, and others on stage. The three-day festival schedule and set times are yet to be announced, but the lineup confirms several fan favorites.

How much do CCMF 2022 tickets cost?  

General admission tickets cost around $250 – $300, while CCFM 2022 VIP tickets cost up to $1200 for the luxury experience. The festival also offers all GA and VIP passes at discounted rates for Military and First Responders.   

Thursday night kick-off concert tickets are $49; Myrtle Beach locals pay only $20. However, all CCMF 2022 tickets are sold out, and resale tickets are your only option if you make a last-minute plan.  

What are the perks of each Carolina Country Music Fest 2022 ticket?  

Three-day GA tickets give you access to the festival from Friday, June 10 to Sunday, June 12, with re-entry using the same wristband throughout the weekend. Four-Day GA pass holders get additional access to the kick-off concert on Thursday, June 9.   

Four-Day Main Stage VIP pass holders have access to the private viewing area in front of the stage, priority entry to the festival, and a private bar, plus all GA features. If you have shelled out more for the Four-Day Super VIP package, an air-conditioned tent with seating is available with complimentary food and beverage service. Super VIPs also have access to all VIP facilities and the exclusive viewing area at platform 3-level with a full bar.   

How to enter the festival grounds

You have to activate your wristband received via mail. Registration is completely online using the eight-digit number on the band. You can also add a cashless payment method to your wristband.   

How to get around Myrtle Beach during CCMF 2022

Shuttles run continuously from the official festival parking lot at 2400 North Oak Street. Rideshare services are also available throughout the weekend. In addition, there are several restaurants, hotels, and stores within walking distance of the venue.   

Keep these traffic regulations in mind if you plan to drive around Myrtle Beach during the festival:  

• Beach access at 8th Avenue North and the right-turning lane from 9th Avenue to Kingsway is closed for vendor use.  
• 7th Avenue North and 9th Avenue North have pedestrian barricades.  
• Kings Highway is one-lane only during the festival.   
• The boulevard is closed from 8th Avenue North to 9th Avenue North.  
• Officers are posted near closed side streets to allow people access to businesses.   
• Look out for hydro-barricades too.  
• Grisson Parkway and Highway 31 are recommended.  

Is there parking at Carolina Country Music Festival 2022?  

Official parking is at the Myrtle Beach City Lot (Former Mall Lot) – 2400 North Oak Street. It is a short walk from the festival site, but free shuttles are available for parking pass holders. You’ll find other parking lots in the neighborhood, but you’ll have to pre-book a spot before the festival rush begins.   

How much does CCMF 2022 parking cost?  

Single-day CCMF 2022 parking passes are now available on the official website for $24.00. You can use this pass any day of the festival. The four-day pass costs $69.99 and is good for all days, including the kick-off concert on Thursday.  

Note: The official festival parking lot is open only from 10:00 am to 10:00 pm on festival days. On Thursday, June 9, the lot opens at 5:00 pm and closes at midnight. If you are staying at a hotel nearby with parking included, it’s best to leave your car at the hotel. You’ll also find cheaper all-day deals (up to 24 hours) at other Myrtle Beach parking lots.
