Q: Where does Granny go in practice mode?

In Practice mode, Granny has left the house, so she wont be chasing you. Players will find a sticky note—presumably from Granny— attached to the barricaded front door with the words Ill be back soon written on it. This game mode is relatively safe, because you dont have to worry about Granny hunting you down.

The Melon is an item in Granny, and it is required to escape the house. It was added to the game in Version 1.3.

Appearance

It is a pretty small watermelon, with green, striped skin and red flesh. It has some seeds in it.

Mechanics

Upon picking the Melon up for the first time during the game, the Player will realize that "Something is inside this Melon," which is a thing. It's unknown how the Melon was managed to be emptied, have an item put in it, and get attached again since there are no stitches or any other visible feature to hold it together.

For the Melon to be opened, it has to be placed in the Guillotine and once the handle is pulled, it will be chopped open and make a dull thud. The Melon will open and the item will be revealed, but this WILL alert Granny.

The location of the Melon corresponds to what it contains:

Trivia

The Weapon Key spawned in the Melon on Preset 4 prior to Version 1.5. The Spark Plug now spawns in that position.
The Melon looks like an American football.
Even if the item is called Melon, the melon looks like a watermelon due to its color.
The Melon's size is similar to a human neck, as it fits perfectly inside the Guillotine.
The message found in the Hidden Tunnel informs the player that "She sometimes hides things inside fruits", which refers to the hiding a thing in the melon.
It is unknown why, and how Granny puts items in the melon.
The Melon isn't required for preset #1 as the Weapon Key is in the Playhouse, which is optional, or preset #2 if the Player wishes to escape in the Car, as the Master Key is found there. However, it is required in Preset #3 and Preset #4 for the Car Escaping Procedure, as it reveals the Spark Plug, and in Preset #5, it is required in both ways, as it shows the Padlock Key.
It is required for all Main Door Escaping Procedure positions with the exception of preset 4, where it has the Spark Plug inside.
Once the Melon is chopped, it will disappear after 20 seconds.
The Melon used to spawn in the wardrobe in Study (Ground Floor) and the Bathroom.
The Melon is the 1st item in the game that can be cut in half, the second is the Player if they get the Version 1.3 game over.
This is the 2nd food in the game, the first being the Hanging Meat, the third being the Meat, and the fourth being the Birdseed.
The Melon can help based on where it is located. For example, if the Melon spawns in the Car Trunk it will have the Spark Plug inside it.

Hi i don't know if this will help but it's either in the living room downstairs, in the bath, in the room near the playhouse and in the cellar! Thanks will help any other people!

You can find the watermelon in the living room downstairs, in the room next to the playhouse, in the cellar, or in the bath in the bathroom. Note- To open the watermelon you need to put it in the guillotine.

I'm not sure but it can be in the fridge, the living room downstairs, in the bath, in the shed, and in the well. Those are the places I know, idk any others.

Granny all possible item locations: All drawers in rooms around the house. Any shelves that you can see around the house. Cupboard under the stairs. Sinks and toilets in bathroom next to starting bedroom.
