Barcelona travels to face Galatasaray in the UEFA Europa League Round of 16 on Thursday, with the score tied going into the second and decisive leg after a goalless draw in the first leg at the Camp Nou last week. 

The hosts come into the clash on a real high, following their 2-1 victory over city rivals Besiktas at the weekend which followed their draw against Barca. Galatasaray manager Domenec Torrent will be desperate for his side to continue on this form and pull off a major shock against the European giants.

On the other hand, Xavi's men approach the clash in a fine run of form as they are unbeaten in their last 10 games in all competitions. In what was understood to be a transitional season for the Catalans, they sit third in the La Liga table and are among the favorites to win the Europa League this campaign after making some real progress despite having a relatively young side.

Galatasaray forward Ryan Babel picked up an injury in the first leg, however, was fit enough to make the bench for their weekend derby victory and should be involved in some capacity.

Former Barcelona man Arda Turan is set to miss out on reuniting with his old teammates due to a groin injury. Goalkeeper Fernando Muslera will also sit out the match due to a long-term knee injury. 

Halil Dervisoglu, Kaan Arslan, Ismail Cipe, Baris Yilmaz, and Alpaslan Ozturk were all absent from their weekend victory over Besiktas, it remains unclear as to how many of them will be unable to feature on Thursday.

Gavi and Nico Gonzalez both return to contention after serving respective bans, while long-term injury concerns Ansu Fati, Sergi Roberto, Alejandro Balde and Samuel Umtiti are all still out.

Galatasaray showed their ability to match their star-studded opponents in the first leg, even coming close to winning the first leg at the Camp Nou only to have a Bafetimbi Gomis goal ruled out in the latter stages.
