Rin Kashii (香椎 鈴, Kashii Rin) is a character in Battle in 5 Seconds After Meeting series. She is an office lady and has the ability to create torture devices from her body fluids.

Appearance[]

Rin is a young woman with long red hair. She is usually wearing a night lingerie. Later on, she wears a knee-length puffy fur coat over her black lingerie and has somewhat slanted bangs with red ends. In her disguse her hair is long and is mostly black with red ends.

Personality[]

Initially Rin gives impression of flirty and seductive woman, that adores to use her charms to play with men. However, it is only a front and in reality she is very egoistical and has wrathful temper. Willing to survive at all costs, she has no restraint in manipulating her underlings, and physically abuses them if they fail.

Plot[]

When Mion explains the rules and that the people are there to participate in a test, Rin joins the conversation of Mion and Shin Kumagiri, stating that it doesn't matter if she killed the man as Mion had explained their lives don't matter anymore and she probably already planned on killing someone for an example.

During the second program, Rin is teamed with four other people and they need to fight 1 on 1 against another team of five. Rin faces Satoru Sawatari. As the fight starts, she asks him if he could give up as she isn't good at fighting and is afraid of what might happen to her if she loses. Satoru thinks she is hiding something under her blanket, but Rin reveals she is in her lingerie as she was brought to this place while she was wearing it. She also offers to reward him if he give up. Looking at her body, Satoru comments that her proposal isn't half bad, but she is the one that must give up as his ability is a bit dangerous and he may end up killing her. Satoru proposes they flip a coin on who loses and Rin agrees. As he flips the coin, Rin activates her ability and kills him, explaining that she is too afraid to surrender.

Battle Game in 5 Seconds (Japanese: 出会って5秒でバトル, Hepburn: Deatte Go-byō de Batoru) also known as Battle in 5 Seconds After Meeting is a Japanese manga series, written by Saizō Harawata and illustrated by Kashiwa Miyako. It has been serialized in Shogakukan's MangaONE app and Ura Sunday website since August 2015. It is a remake of Harawata's webcomic by the same name. An anime television series adaptation by SynergySP and Vega Entertainment (with CG animation by Studio A-Cat) aired from July to September 2021.

Battle Game in 5 Seconds is created by Saizō Harawata. Harawata first launched the series as a webcomic and a remake illustrated by Kashiwa Miyako began publishing on Shogakukan's MangaONE app and Ura Sunday website on August 11 and August 18, 2015, respectively.[4][5][6] Shogakukan has collected its chapters into individual tankōbon volumes. The first volume was released on February 26, 2016.[7] As of October 12, 2021, eighteen volumes have been released.[8]

Comikey is digitally publishing the manga in English since July 12, 2021.[9] The manga is licensed in Indonesia by Elex Media Komputindo.[4]

Anime[edit]

In November 2020, it was announced that the manga would receive an anime television series adaptation.[27] The series is animated by SynergySP and Vega Entertainment and directed by Nobuyoshi Arai with Meigo Naito serving as chief director, Touko Machida handling series composition, Studio A-Cat producing the CG animation, and Tomokatsu Nagasaku and Ikuo Yamamoto handling character designs.[2] It aired from July 13 to September 28, 2021 on Tokyo MX and BS11.[28] The opening theme song, "No Continue," is performed by Akari Kitō, while the ending theme song, "Makeibe Jikkyō Play" (負けイベ実況プレイ, lit. "Let's Stream a Playthrough of the Bad Ending"), is performed by 15-sai to Seiko Oomori.[2] Crunchyroll licensed the series outside of Asia.[29] Muse Communication licensed the series in South and Southeast Asia.[30]
