Haven't seen "The Boys" yet. How powerful is Homelander? Because Brightburn could splatter adult men by just flying through them... And bullets do absolutely nothing to him. By the end of the movie we see him causing major disasters, which means everything we saw in the movie prior to that is probably his low-end feats.

Round 1: Homelander. He's basically the Brightburn kid all grown up.

Bonus round: Superman stomps.

Haven't seen "The Boys" yet. How powerful is Homelander? Because Brightburn could splatter adult men by just flying through them... And bullets do absolutely nothing to him. By the end of the movie we see him causing major disasters, which means everything we saw in the movie prior to that is probably his low-end feats.

His laser vision is significantly better, he's a lot faster (rescued someone from a C4 explosion going off a couple of meters from them). Not sure he really had any strength feats outside of throwing humans really high, but it's assumed he could lift a plane no hassle. The Speedster in the Boys-verse did the same thing Brandon did with regards to splattering, Homelander is better than him by a lot.

1. Homelander. Admittedly his standalone feats aren't that impressive but if you scale him to The Seven then he's easily better than Brandon.

A quick rundown of his capabilities which contains spoilers:

His standalone strength feats aren't that good. He was strong enough to crush humans with his strength which isn't that impressive. Since he's implied to be the most supe I think it's safe to scale him to others like Maeve who stopped a speeding armored truck or The Female who was moving at blur speeds. He saved Billy from an explosive. He was implied to be able to lift a plane but didn't because his excuse was that he had nothing to stand on. Bullets did nothing to him.

Lol, looking at his feats, this Homelander guy seems pretty pathetic. His feats are at the same level as Brightburn, so not sure how is this supposed to be a clear cut by any mean.

I'd take any live action version to punch both of these turds. On that note the actors for homelander and Brandon are great imo.

(1) I'm taking Brandon. I saw nothing from Homelander that put him above Brandon, and Brandon was able to at least bring a plane down with some semblance of control given the location of the crash. In theory, Homelander (and The Boys universe in general) powers seem to be grounded more in realism.

(2) Clark one-shots both.

HMMMM, let’s see this fight is taking place in Washington so a lot of people are going to be watching. Would homelander hold back to not have murdering a kid on the sevens public image? I mean probably not Incase the world is already aware of what brightburn has done, or how confident homelander is that his company can spin whatever gruesomeness takes place.

Never the less the world WOULD be watching and homelander probably would want to put on some sort of show. Maybe say some sort of sly BS remark about justice or America or something before the fight. Brightburn wouldn’t give a single shit of course and probably just fly into him or something. Homelander might fire his laser but I think brightburn would either tank it or be able to dodge and barrel into him anyhow. Homelander might be taking aback by someone who doesn’t immediately explode into a pool of meat and blood when he looks at him but he would totally endure the first hit.

The two crash through a monument or two, Homelander is visibly pissed someone made him look like a punk on international television for a moment but tries to play it of by continuing the fight. Brightburn is either frustrated or curious about homelander also not being crushed into nothingness but since he’s not in the least chained down to what people think of him is more than happy to try again.

Brightburn lunges for homelander again but is knocked aside as the leader of the seven sees it coming. Holding back any sort of physical attack in a way similar to a adult holding back an overly aggressive child.

Holding him down homelander would get cocky again, and so would the news ANS the press, getting a close up. Even unmasks the kid. While homelander is smiling for the camera brightburn head buds the bastard in his teeth which would mess his concentration for a moment. Before he knows it. The alien child wiggles free then throws homelander into the press camera men he’s posing for. A pile of guts and viscera pool over him as gravel fills hose mouth whole thr remain force of the through sends him forward.

Blood and dust fill the air, both opponents are humiliated and very mad and both end up spamming their laser beams at one another. Whatever nearly monuments that weren’t destroyed before are now, with people getting crushed under the rubble. Since homelander has

x ray vision I guess his aim would be slightly better than brightburns though and he would eventually Spam it until the kid is knocked of his feet. If brughtburn is able to survive this initial onslaught then he’ll probably fly off an attempt a different approach. Flying left and right through buildings and through people, with those odd techno lighting powers he also had acting up as well. Homelander would take to the skies as well, with their two wind currents forming what men of culture would call a “total shit storm.”

Now I think brightburn might have a few more powers credited to him, and homelander would have fairly more experience (albeit mostly with non powered enemies.) I think it would eventually come down to who would be more willing to go all out with their abilities first in the end and in that case I’d give it to brightburn who seems to take interest exploring his powers in a variety of gruesome ways, where homelander usually sticks with the heat rays. True he’s can also be a gruesome bastard stomping people’s heads in but it’s not as creative and he does have to some things down to at least some extent if he’d want to keep is image clean in front of The Whole world

Homelander resists a nuclear bomb? They say he has been attacked with all the weapons in the world.

Round 1: Since Homelander is basically like Brandon all grown up, I would say that Homelander has more experience, so, therefore, he kills Brandon with a little bit of trouble.

Bonus Round: Because of the DCEU Superman's impressive feats in Man of Steel, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and Justice League, I would say that Superman wrecks them both as the same time. Superman is more experienced than Homelander since he has fought BIGGER threats such as the other Kryptonians and Doomsday. I would say that Homelander might even have trouble with the DCEU version of Steppenwolf since Homelander has never fought a "serious" opponent in his life. He has fought 50-year-old grandpa criminals, though, which is nothing compared to the opponents that Superman fights. So overall, Superman is better than Homelander and Brandon at everything such as speed, durability, and strength. Every time Superman got punched in the face, it created huge amounts of shockwaves. And every time Superman punched someone in the face, it created shockwaves. Do you get where I am going with this? Superman is clearly the winner here, and he was even able to keep up with Faora's combat moves in like Day 2 of him using his powers! This shows that Superman is just LEAGUES ahead of Homelander's. I don't really know about Brandon though, since he is just a child. He might grow up to be SUPER powerful though after getting a lot of experience and time killing people. For now, Superman is the winner of the Bonus Round.

So, to sum it up, Homelander wins Round 1, and Superman OBLITERATES both Homelander and Brandon in the Bonus Round.

Basically Brightburn and Homelander has killed everything but the problem is that Brightburn and Homelander has killed everything who were way weaker than Brightburn and Homelander so Superman wins unless if Brightburn and Homelander use kryptonite

@notoriouscritic: Brandon's heat vision is absolute garbage compared to Homelander. Brandon's HV could barely pierce through his dad's skull whereas Homelander's HV mows down crowds of people or a team of agents.

I can take a flamethrower and do the same amount of damage to a forest as Brandon did. Then you have Ryan who scales to Homelander. Ryan eviscerated and killed Stormfront with HV who took a beating from 3 super humans at the same time. Brandon hasn't shown anywhere near that kind of power.

Regardless of your opinion, Brandon can't, "Splatter Homelander easily." That's just not happening.
