Hello, fellow simmers. I’m currently playing the sims 4 on Xbox one, and have been enjoying this same save/legacy for a couple of years now. I’ve built lots and families and, long story short, I really have to find a way to fix this bug because I don’t want to lose this save. Show I’m unable to move up and down lot levels (on Xbox it’s normally the up/down keys on the D pad) nor am I able to alter the walls up or down (left and right on D pad). This is game breaking when there’s any lot with multiple levels, plus if you wanted to add/edit walls not having the ability to hide them and fully show them is also a pain. It started when I had a sim visit a coffee shop lot that I’d built awhile ago, to modify it and manage the business. I found that there, I couldn’t alter the walls or go up and down floors. So I traveled home to see if the bug persisted and it did. Reverted to a prior auto save and the bug still persists. I even tried a new controller, thinking that my D pad crapped out. I’m not sure what I did to break the save, but was wondering if anyone else experienced this and/or found a fix? tl:dr - unable to move up or down floors or adjust walls up or down in any building in a save. Looking for a fix, if one exists. Product: The Sims 4 Since yesterday evening the buttons for level up/down & no/partial/full walls don't work anymore in live mode. They do fine in build mode, but in live mode it simply pops the roof on it and refuse to budge. Initially the two buttons can be clicked on, but nothing happens and they grey out. It happened after I build a house on the 50x50 lot in Mua Pe'lam (not sure if I wrote that correctly) and when I wanted to go to live mode it only let me look at the outside of the house and not do anything with it. I've removed all my mods and cc, repaired the game, reinstalled it, and tried everything I could think of in order to try to fix it. I've downloaded houses from the gallery (not build by me) and placed them on various lots in various worlds to test it and everywhere the same happens. Also with houses I build earlier in different game saves that were previously working fine, letting me lower walls and go up and down levels within the houses, now they simply freeze in the full-walls, including roof look of the house. I have every pack available for Sims4 and every patch is installed. Hopefully the picture is clear enough. It shows the up/down buttons grey, the walls up/down button at the down position, while the roof is still on the house (ground floor building on raised stilted foundation) but should be gone with the interior of the house in full view. Hey guys, apologies if this has been posted before. I'm in the process of building a large new house on a lot I cleared. Everyting is ok in build mode, but when I switch to live mode with a Sim in the lot, I can't move the camera up and down the house levels (with the arrows in the top right) or take the walls out of view. All I can see is the entire exterior of the house with the walls up. To see inside I have to push the camera through the walls. You need to delete the userdata file that has your user settings and the user agreement in it.
Why can't my SIM go up the stairs Sims 4?Re: Sims can't go upstairs. 2020. @ElsaSweden you just have to remove the stairs and then you'll see the fence covering the way the stairs were place. u just have to remove those and then put the stairs back.
