Feb 13, 2008 The only watch I have on a bracelet is an old Citizen. The watch is great but the bracelet pinches the hair on my arm, which makes me never want to wear it. Since then I haven't bought a watch on a bracelet. This begs the question: are nicer watches, like Omegas, pinch-free for their bracelets?

an SMP and a PO, and neither of them have been hair pullers. But I've got similarly styled bracelets on watches that cost much less, and they aren't a problem either. It's pretty much a combination of your particular arm hair and the style of the bracelet, but I've found that most modern bracelets aren't much of a problem (no matter the brand). I do have some older bracelets that will strip the hair from my wrist in no time. I'd suggest you go for the bracelet if you're buying an Omega.
If you don't like it, you'll be able to easily sell it and make enough cash to buy lots of straps. :-! FYI, here's how hairy my arm is: ;-)

The cheaper Omega bracelets are hair pullers in my experience, the others are excellent. The bracelets I had with the Speedy reduced and the modern Dynamic were definite hair pullers and my arm is not werewolf-like by any means. Joined Jan 28, 2008 · 383 Posts

The bracelet on my speedy pro is very comfortable, as was the Rolex bracelet on my Tudor I used to own. I also had Seiko watches with steel bracelet's and never had a problem. The only problems I ever had with hair-pullers were cheaper watches (Fossil, Kenneth Cole etc.), and those God forbidden Spiedel elastic bracelet's.

What would they say if you went in for laser hair removal on just one wrist? Bet you'd get some funny looks. Scott

I didn't know there was such a thing as a "cheap" Omega! Well they are the "cheaper" Omega models and had corresponding bracelets to go with them Different to the ones on the "Pro" models

Sylvester Stallone does his whole body. Source? How do I stop my hair from pinching my bracelet?Stick a piece of tape to the inside of the watch band to seal the space between the links. As a result, a hair will no longer clamp and get stuck.
Why do bead bracelets pull on my hair?A: I have had trouble with malas and beaded bracelets pull hair if they are too tightly strung. Also on malas that are well worn so the string has absorbed salt from the sweat, heat and humidity tighten the string which is torture on chest hair. Helpful?
Why do bracelets always break?Your Wear It All the Time
The shampoo and soaps in the shower, hair sprays, perfume, body lotions, and sunscreen all do their part to help break down and weaken the elastic over time, eventually causing it to snap. Take elastic bracelets off before applying lotions or sprays.
