Why does Naruto not wear his headband

Q: Why does Naruto doesnt wear headband?

Because he doesnt need to. He has his Hokage robe and hat to signify his allegiance to the Hidden Leaf. Why didnt Naruto become the 6th Hokage?

Every hokage wore a headband. Hiruzen also did, when he was fighting Orochimaru, Hashirama wore a headband when he was reincarnated, Minato also always wore a headband, only Tsunade never wore a headband, but Kakashi also wore one.

He's looking up to the coolest guy too much.

Naruto's Original Headband from Iruka was damaged in training years ago. He tells this to Iruka over a bowl of Ramen. Iruka tells Naruto clothes can be replaced.

I always figured Naruto replaced the cloth of the headband, but not the actual metal part.

Also, it's hard to noticed, but

Sasuke still has his headband under his cloak

. You can see it in the new chapter.
