After almost two years, some players are still finding their way through the lunar planet. One of these quests is known as "Memory of Toland," which requires the players to search Trove Guardians scattered across the Moon in Destiny 2. Locating him is really easy, just head to the location mentioned, there you will find a huge enemy hive as shown in the picture below. Eliminate him.  Upon eliminating the Trove Guardian you’ll get a message “a path has opened”. Unlike other powerful enemies, trove guardian doesn’t drop a loot chest when he’s defeated, you have to scour around to some other location to gather his wares. There should be a long floating, if you have ever been to dreaming city (with Tincture enabled), then you should have seen the floating platform, these platforms are similar. Just jump around and you’ll be headed to the loot area soon. The phantasmal fragment is Eris Morn’s resource that is used for crafting new gear with Lectern of Enchantment. Start by spawning at Sorrow’s Harbor and make your way towards Hellmouth. Do not spawn at the Sanctuary, as the location is quite far from there. The area where the Trove Guardian spawns at Hellmouth is just next to the location where the Witches Ritual public event arrives. Trove Guardian Chest LocationThe Trove Guardian gives players access to chests at different locations. Once the Trove Guardian is defeated, players will have to find the chest by completing a jump puzzle. Before taking down the enemy, it is best to pick the character’s jump tree, that you are most comfortable with. It will make things way easier. You just need to know the platform locations.
