DENVER — The Denver Broncos beat the Dallas Cowboys with a score of 17 to 7 at Empower Field at Mile High.

Broadcast coverage began at 6 p.m. on KTVD Channel 20 — that's channel 657 if you have Xfinity.

If you watch 9NEWS over the air, you may need to rescan your antenna to receive our updated, high powered signal for KTVD.

For those in Colorado, the game will also be broadcasted live on the 9NEWS+ streaming app — for Fire TV, Roku and Apple TV — as well as on 9NEWS.com and the 9NEWS mobile app.

As the Broncos' hometown television partner for the 12th straight season, 9NEWS has the broadcast for all three preseason games in August.

Steve Levy serves as the play-by-play commentator and will be joined in the booth by color analysts Chad Brown and Ryan Harris. 9NEWS Sports Director Rod Mackey will serve as the sideline reporter on the broadcasts.

The Dallas Cowboys and Denver Broncos meet up in Week 1 of the 2022 NFL preseason at Empower Field in Denver. Kickoff is set for 9 p.m. ET and the game will air on KTVT 11 (CBS) in Dallas and KTVD My20 in Denver. Given that this is the preseason, we’ll see plenty of unknown and lesser-known faces on the rosters. To keep track of who you’re watching, check out the Cowboys roster and the Broncos roster.

The Cowboys are coming off a 12-5 season a year ago that was good enough for an NFC East division title. Dallas would go on to face the San Francisco 49ers and fall 23-17 in the wild-card round. The Broncos finished last in their division in 2021 but joined the rest of the AFC West in loading up during the offseason. They notably found their franchise quarterback after trading for Russell Wilson. New head coach Nathaniel Hackett has not confirmed whether Wilson will see playing time throughout the preseason.

The Broncos are a 3-point favorite at DraftKings Sportsbook and -145 on the moneyline. The Cowboys are a +125 moneyline underdog. The point total is installed at 31.5 with the over/under juiced to -110.

The Denver Broncos (0-0) will host the Dallas Cowboys (0-0) in Week 1 of the NFL’s 2022 preseason schedule on Saturday, Aug. 13. The game will be played at Empower Field at Mile High with a capacity of 76,125 fans.

Saturday’s game will begin at 7 p.m. MT and will be nationally televised on NFL Network. Locally, the game will be broadcast on KTVD Channel 20. Fans can stream NFLN’s broadcast of the game on on fuboTV (free trial).

Steve Levy (play-by-play), Chad Brown (color analyst), Ryan Harris (color analyst) and Rod Mackey (sideline reporter) will serve as the commentators for the Broncos-Cowboys game on KTVD/NFLN.

After Saturday’s game, the Broncos will have to trim the roster from 90 players down to 85 players by Tuesday, Aug. 16.

Denver will then have a road preseason game against the Buffalo Bills on Aug. 20, followed by a home preseason finale against the Minnesota Vikings on Aug. 27. The team must have a finalized 53-man roster set by Aug. 30.
