She matriculated from a high school in Red Bank before she enrolled at Villanova University in Pennsylvania, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in classical studies in 1985. She continued her education at the University of Southern California’s School of Law, graduating with a Law Degree in 1987.

Diane launched her career when she became an advocate (non-practicing lawyer) – after she gave birth to her first child, she took a break from work and became a housewife.
