I got this VR headset that I hate ...I want to return it the girl at the store mentioned they don’t take headphones back for hygiene issues but I may be able to get my refund back on a gift card anyone know how strict this policy is?
id say id probably be the same or worst then headphones being it touch's the part of ur face that's most likely to get super sweaty and gross. they would probably only want to exchange it if its broken.
You bought it, you own it. Unless it's defective, you won't be able to return it, and even then they would do an exchange only. If you really want to get rid of it, your best bet is to onsell through BST/Kijiji/Craigslist, etc, to reduce your losses and buy one you'll be happy with. Proud RFD member since January 31, 2007. It depends on how the rep classifies it but odds are if you opened it, you bought it. You could try if you like but don't be surprised if you get rejected. As far as how strict, it depends on location and the manager on duty. Some might not care while others (probably most) will reject your return.
